The first 2 Hellraisers are awesome! I kind of like this one better for the same reasons.

There's definitely a strong case for this over the first. This one felt like it fleshed (pun intended) things out a bit.

I HAVE BOTH HELLRAISER MOVIES ON DVD AND TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH HELLRAISER'S 1 AND 2 EVEN TO THIS CLASSIC HORORR GEM STILL HOLDS A PLACE IN MY HEART.

I love the original Hellraiser all time classic...but Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 expanded the lore with leviathan, the labyrinth, and the backstory on Pinhead. Great sequel!! ⛓️⛓️⛓️

I always thought the thing on the the top of channards head was a kind of umbilical cord to leviathan. Great video.

The only time I know of Pinhead physically killing somebody is when he chops off Darrick's head in the eighth movie (Hellworld)

On another note, everything after the fourth movie (Bloodline) are stand alones, the sixth movie (Hellseeker) is debatable on that as Kirsty returns, but I believe that one only acknowledges the first movie (not really though, but Larry and Frank are mentioned), but Chatterer does return to some of the further sequels, in Bloodline, he's a dog (Chatterer Beast) in the fifth movie (Inferno) he's just an upper torso, he's a female in the ninth movie (Revalations), I think the comic books give more of the backstory to him

My favorite hellraiser movie was hellworld and the kicker is the cenobites aren't in it and pinhead is in the movie a total of like 10 minutes

I watched Hellraiser 2 a lot more than part 1 when they first came out on video as a child, maybe I was to immature to understand the adult love / lust theme of part 1 or maybe I liked telling my parents to rent a movie way to messed up for young me, but I owned them both by mid 90s. Thanx for the Review

This is the only horror movie I turned off. That fish wire scene freaked me the f out (I saw this when I was 12)

Don't think there's any cenobite backstory in the rest, sorry. First two Hellraiser's are awesome, 3 is just ok, the rest are crap. Didn't love the new reboot either.
