@@davidc. strongly disagree, i havent been able to complete a single players main campaign in years just due to the sheer boredom of playing by myself, and most online pve games can only keep me entertained for a few weeks because a lot of them feel so repetitive

@@trevortaylor9536irs not even true . Trivial gives you +1 Participation and suicidal difficulty gives +3 per mission for example. Its much much faster to do the hard ones

@@fluxx7217 that suicidal that gives +3 takes 30 minutes minimum to complete. and thats per mission, usually 3 in suicidal. so hour and a half? i can do 25 trivials in that timeframe at 4-5 minutes each, giving +25. the math maths

Uninstalled OW the day after they announced the PvE changes and have not looked back or played. Helldivers is fun

It was the final straw, after the announcement of the original PvE and hero skill tree mastery feature were both scrapped and basically just combat fatigue from season 4, grinding out Overwatch’s battle-passes did take its toll in more ways than one, and let’s not mention the toxicity of certain players and the overall community, especially the Stans on Twitter who are unreasonable to yet-to-be-discovered levels. But yes, THAT comic was the final straw, it was the sound of a twig snapping that made me uninstall. But, to see how the Invasion mode played out and how each season and its respective battle-pass got progressively worse, along with how he new heroes are also gonna divide the fanbase even more, I think I couldn’t have left at a better time. 9 months after I uninstalled Overwatch, after 6 years of playing that game, I still feel the phantom pain of the fun Overwatch 1 was back then, a reminder of better times that helped me soldier on through tough times. Hell, I don’t even bother with the R34 as well, it’s just too painful to look at nowadays, no matter how top-notch it is, it’s all just a damn lie. But worry not, for with HellDivers 2 and other better games, along with creating my own OC waifu to take along with in these adventures, I am recovering and doing better. I hope Stylosa and other Overwatch KZfaqrs can move on from Overwatch completely, it’s not the same game we all loved playing before.

@@478Johnnyboy my original reply isn’t coming through so all I will say is after combat fatigue from season 4, the news of the OG PvE and hero skill tree mastery features being scrapped and replaced with the overhyped Invasion mode, the extreme toxicity of other players AND, not to be that guy but, the release of the As You Are short story comic, I had to un-install. All of that within the week round 24th-30th of May, it was all too much for me to handle. Haven’t played Overwatch since, hard to believe it’s been 9 months so far.

The planets are all connected across all players, but missions are separate. Think of them as maps or stages, there are only 4 people per mission but many more running their own missions on the planet. When you complete a mission you add to a liberation percentage, and when it reaches 100% the planet becomes liberated and you can no longer run missions there. Basically, the galactic war is just a backdrop for what is a normal co op horde shooter. Play missions, collect samples, and get new equipment. There is no solo or story
