Take note. You DONT wanna stand your ground in a fight with the automatons. Hit the objective and anything big like a tank or Hulk and once done, disengage and GTFO immediately from the fight so you can do th either objectives and any POI’s without getting bogged down

Accurate. And throw in a healthy dose of Warhammer 40K too; bot "Hulks" are literally just space marine Dreadnoughts, and the Termanids are a mix of SST Arachnids and W40K Tyranids. All in all? A nearly perfect combination of stuff.

Recently hit level 50 playing almost always against Automaton here. To do the Essential Personel Evacuate you need to drop the team halfway to the edge of the map. Bring as much firepower as you can - Mortar Sentry essential for drawing in as much attention as possible. Dropships need to keep dropping on the distraction squad. 1 guy has to sneak into base and start opening doors after dropships are dropping off troops elsewhere, far away from base.

The starship trooper halo-ness draws you in, then as you move to the harder difficulties it becomes a rush and the game becomes addictive. Similar to winning boss fights in souls games

Helldivers 2 is genuinely one of the most fun co-op experiences to come out of the last couple years, it’s such a breath of fresh air with all the other crappy live service games. The devs seem to actually care about their community and want to improve their game which is always great to see. The gameplay loop is addicting and satisfying and blowing bugs up with orbital strikes is always amazing. I can’t stress how good this game is lmao. If you haven’t had the chance to pick it up and have the opportunity, please get helldivers 2 already!

Heres something interesting and somewhat related. An ex-343 employee has revealed that there was an ODST Themed Game that was very similar to helldivers 2 in design being proposed. It was shot down, not once but multiple seperate times. And seeing the reception to Helldivers 2. I'd say Microsoft and 343 missed a huge goldmine.

Probably, if we're giving the benefit of the doubt, the people in charge knew Halo's popularity stemmed a LOT from its multiplayer and story, and the popularity of Master Chief. A Halo-universe PvE only game that doesn't feature the Chief likely would struggled to find success.

I'd love for that to happen. Mainly so I could play with some of my family. But I don't think it'll ever happen to be honest. It isn't just a game Sony published, they also own the IP. Helldivers is pretty sick. I like when you tried to drop an orbital strike on a silverback gorilla and instead blew up and burned a bridge with an unrelated third party. So if it hasnt already been said yet, those personnel extraction missions are bugged due to a recent patch. Ordinarily, the bots may have 2 dropships, then you have around 30-45 seconds to kill them before the next wave. As they are now, its nonstop and almost impossible on higher difficulties without using a stealth/distraction strategy

the Braveheart line of automatons coming for you guys is amazing. This game just has so many good moments that are meme-able. HD2 is just about everything I've wanted in a co-op game. Glorious. Get your backwards leap off a ledge to excape a charging bug or explosion and ragdoll away on hitting the ground, and still somehow get up and keep fighting. good shit.

I love that it's so chaotic. Half the time I can't even figure out what to aim at. Just explosions, air strikes, turrets, oorah. And damn the low vision levels.

Hayo act man! 3D generalist here. Cool foods for thought, not every sky is a sky box. There are WONDEROUS things you can do to your game now that allow for super realistic atmospheres, that actually won't contain a skybox. Particle systems, flat cards, animated processes, swimming textures, they all work together to create elaborate environments! Don't get me wrong, I thought everything in the air was a sky box too. But actually nowadays you can use sooo much more, especially with node systems now? It's insane! Love how the sky looks, love how the game plays, love all your videos buddy! 79.4 hours on the game here. I have been waiting for him to deliver a Helldivers 2 video, and I'm so glad he did. I've been playing Overwatch 2 and this game had the grandiose to rip me away from it. I had 1218 hours on Overwatch 2 by the way. I love this guy. Spread that Democracy and stay free boys.

If anyone random says the STUPID F***ing things Hasan says, Asmon would rip them to pieces. But when Hasan says it, Asmon is okay with it and defends it pathetically. @@eldenvedetta635Used to watch him a lot back in 2016 - 2019. He changed when he became more mainstream and started hanging out with other streamers(same group Hasan is hanging with). Also, a lot of them are under the same company which explains a lot. Even if it isn't about one of his friends, he sometimes just ignore context to make his point sound better. I hate that. It's sad because I know he has talent and have showed very good logical thinking in the past. And I love the love he had/has for his parents, just very nice to see/hear. People will tell you that he hasn't changed but trust me he has. He used to talk a lot of shit back then and of course had some "wrong" takes here and there but it felt like he himself really didn't take it too seriously. He only got evolved in drama around WoW and actually kinda refused to become another react streamer at the time.
