They are as expected if you came from HD1. They were very strong situationally but aren't the instant win that most expected. They serve as just another tool in the Helldiver arsenal & as we know each has their strengths & weaknesses. The other variants of the mechs will probably serve the same purpose with the dual autocannons being better suited for the automatons & the 3rd as a more crowd control focused one. Personally they are best used when extracting as they can buy you valuable time waiting for the Pelican to descend especially defending a choke point.

Belated happy birthday, man! While you gave us great content all these years, I'm personally glad you're going to be focusing on yourself (as someone who'll also be doing the same).

balance wise they are great, they just need to fix a few bugs such as blowing yourself up for rotating too fast after shooting a rocket or dropping off the ship and it blows up

Of course views will prove whether a video is good/successful or not, but I just want you to know that regardless of that your helldivers content has all been fantastic and you continue to be my favorite channel for the genre.

Automatons can be done solo with stealth. Use stratagems for factories like eagle airstrike, 110mm and or laser orbital (for the larger structures like cannons) anti-material rifle is busted for bots! Hope you give it a shot

Mechs against bugs are really strong and fun, but against bots the slow movement speed is a hinderance. You just become a giant target for every bot on the map to hammer you with rockets. And the mechs really can't take that much before they explode and there is really nothing you can do to avoid heavy amounts of fire.

In HD1 the mechs were fun, but not seriously used in high-level play. Part of that was the calldown limit (1) per mech, so once they were spent, that was it. High level play is usually too long to justify something that runs out that fast, burning a strat slot with it.

The exosuits are cool, but I think some welcome changes could include a real melee attack (stomp) and a chance to resupply the ammo. Additionally, emoting in the mechs haha

Honestly the mech is way more powerful than I thought it was going to be. It's the expendable anti tank launcher mixed with the heavy machine gun stratagem except for you get like 12 rockets and like 900 rounds without reloading PLUS gunship support while it's being delivered. It's not very good against bots but it's a beast against bugs as long as you keep your distance. Sure you can't reload but you get 3 of them per run.

Those nukes laying around are great, max ive gotten with one was 88 bugs

Love to see indie dev teams doing well and showing some of these AAA studios how games can still be great and make money bc they keep a player base around. Love how direct the CEO was too. Saying yeah our servers are a mess so don’t buy it right now amongst other things they announced too. Very transparent and keeping it real. Makes me want to support the game even more

It's really glitchy too. Game enemies would appear right in front of me, disappear after several moments, and explosions now feel really imprecise in the game.

I tuned in just as that happened was so perfect!

they're the farthest thing from perfect, but still - I love them for those imperfections.

If you can find a point above the mech and dive on it, you can stand on the mech while somebody else pilots it.

Im sure you know this by now aculite, but you can melee with the mechs, and the melee can apparently kill the chargers with2 hits. Its worth teying out to curb stomp a charger

They're so perfect that if you're not perfectly lined up when you shoot a rocket it'll blow your mech up killing you instantly. So. Perfect.

Only thing they are missing is the possibility to be resupplied with ammo and/or repaired. Ngl, it doesn't make sense to be disposable (especially because it's implied that the thing is very expensive for the Super Earth to make)

mechs break super fast, and can be destroyed by their own grenade/rocket launcher (like, it just blows up in your face, even if there is nothing for it to collide with in your immediate area

Dreadnoughts are great, the Titans would be awesome, though.

Mechs should spawn with a temporary energy shield, like in titanfall.

Can we get an ammo backpack for the mech???

Mechs are really weak to explosive damage , otherwise it can tank a little bit still. The firepower is very good though

The worst thing is calling your mech in, then someone else calls theirs, and the second pelican nukes your mech on the way in with its bombardment, just instant death.

Hi Aculite, watched tomos stream, you murdered his mech with the arc thrower. On one of the bounces it got it.

I think they are nicely balanced. What I would wish we could do is change the mechs Weapons. Like a heavy Assault Rifle (something like straight out of Gundam) for the Gatling gun and Napalm Rockets, Big Railgun, A Heavy Laser at maybe the strength of the Orbital Laser but not much Ammo instead of the Rockets

They get destroyed easily all the time, good for about five minutes if the enemy not all ready eating your legs or shooting at you with a tank.

EDF 4 came out 2016 I really don't hate Helldivers 2(I do hate Helldivers 1 and Playstation) but I feel like it's insulting how much praise this game gets compared to way superior version which came out 8 years ago and EDF 5 is even better than that
