you are forgetting people who live in countries with no acces to psn, the game was sold on steam in countries that cant have psn with out breaking TOS and EULA from playstation ect (vpn/lying)

I am the last helldiver alive... If you are seeing this, the bugs and bots have won the war... The bots had something up their metal sleeves the entire time, a super weapon called the "Sony Diver Destroyer" which destroyed every single Super Destroyer on every planet where the bots were invading so there was a masive decrease in the helldiver production speed and population which was a huge detrement since the terminids had something else coming aswell... There was a chemical in the Termicide called "PSN" which caused the bugs to mutate to massive proportions and gain more intelligence and this advancement led to the infestation of Super Earth...There is no more Democracy, no more Liberty and no more Super Earth....This is the end of Democracy.

Same. I play on PS5 but cannot fathom being a PS fanboy. I got a PS5 because my gf had one and it's slightly less ugly than whatever tf the newest xbox is called. They are just taking L after L. That being said, that sums up the current video gaming industry in general. At least for the majority. If it's not them trying to scam you out of every penny, it's them trying to shove their ideals down your throat and limit you in any way they feel like. Almost seems like Sony goes out of their way to fck over their consumers.

The big issue here that many probably dont realise is that, this was known beforehand that you would have to link your accounts HOWEVER there are a lot of countries that can not create a PSN account because it is not available in their region. Many of these countries are also in the EU, which is a whole other can of works. The problem here is, that this game was available for purchase in these countries and Sony knowing full well that they would lose access to a product they have bought. Helldivers 2 should have been region locked in these countries to begin with if the plan was a mandatory linking of accounts in the first place.

I haven't bought a PS since the PS2. I don't have an account, and don't plan to have an account. Much like State of Decay 2 requires a Microsoft account. I just rather not.

Sony is infamous among game developers for refusing crossplay for no other reason than "non-PSN players are all evil and will harass our nice PSN players if we let them interact!" (in PRBS, "Sony cannot guarantee appropriate behaviour from players outside of PSN"). The worst part of this is that the ones losing money in the end will be the devs, Sony won't feel it at all.

That first negative dip was the recent update. It made things rougher overall. Nerfed a few weapons (which wouldn't be a huge deal on it's own) and then somehow buffed bugs significantly. Spawn rates went up, as well as tracking (so things find you and chase you easier, as well as aggressively kill you faster)... it's been a rough week. To cap it on a Friday early morning with this shit... it's an evil world we live in.

@@snap26neo They buffed the patrols around 75% for solo's i think and it decreases with more people you have in the lobby if i remember correctly

@@hololiveforever9455 it won't be until at the earliest 2025. I just hope they institute a better character creator. After putting in over 3k hours on world and rise each, then playing other games with character creation after, like wild hearts, elden ring, dragon's dogma 2, it's easy to see MH has one of the worst character creators in gaming. Probably would be the worst if tiny tina's wonderlands didn't exist. Oh and they need to stop charging REAL money to fckng edit your character. That is insane to me and is predatory af. Excuse my rant, as much as i love MH... anytime i see it get mentioned now, it just makes me worried with the trend of their MTX in the last 2 games. I just wonder how much they will withhold from us so they can sell it to us...

I think that’s the biggest thing that I hate about it, but admittedly, this is common practice. That is overall not even looked at by an average person is negative at this point it’s just common

You should be fine then. This is more of an issue for people who skipped making the PlayStation account and now either can't make one (due to location and PlayStation not being available in their country) or won't (people who refuse to play anything asking for another account to be setup to use)

My issue is. I actually would make an account BUT i'm still for 6 months in China studying. And here is the thing i either make an Account through VPN and get it maybe banned OR i make an account and have a Chinese ultra restricted account. So for now i rather stop playing because i just can't be bothered with the Headache that all this brings.

Hmm.. idk when I bought the game it said I needed a PSN account so I made one for free, linked it to Steam and forgot about it. I don't own a PS5... butt I'm 100% sure helldivers 2 didn't allow me to play until the account was linked. This was back in March 1. I disable cross-play simply because otherwise sometimes the game crashes if I dive with PlayStation users or giant pink "?"-marks pop up ingame and then it crashes.

I don't live in Japan and I have a Japanese PSN account made so I can buy some of their region specific games. This was done a long time ago, nothing happened to my account. People can choose to go that route if they're in a country that's affected or they can choose to try and get a refund.

No they didn't. Or well, depends what you mean. I did have to make a rockstar account just to play them on Steam but everyone can make a rockstar account and it's not regionally locked like the PlayStation network, so can't compare the two.

@@azure5584 I meant that Rockstar required Steam purchased games to create a Rockstar account to continue playing the games they had already been playing for years. The games had no such requirement at purchase because Rockstar had not created its launcher until years after. I think Steam should have more of a backbone when it comes to things like this. If there is no such requirement at purchase, then there should never be such a requirement, or at the very least, Steam should offer a full refund if something like this is imposed upon players after the fact.

@@louiesatterwhite3885 you haven't played eruptor and crossbow clearly. Crossbow got nerfed to the ground. Eruptor kills half of what it could. Devs wrote "slightly reduced blast radius" in patch notes for crossbow. Well it was a lie. Testing gave me crazy results. 40% blast radius reduction. It's SLIGHT in their terms.

I literally got rid of games on my PS after updates forced me to have a separate third party account just to play them because fuck that shit. Honestly helldivers 2 has been somewhat of a let-down to guys like me. I don’t care for the amount of positivity it gets all around from people on the internet, it’s a game where you can t really do anything solo and being forced to team with players who are either don’t mind or make it miserable for players who might have a hard time co-existing.

Just try to play with others. It's not all 100% perfect, but nothing in life is. I am a solo player, and can do it in helldivers BUT I laugh the entire time even when it's randos. That's where the beauty of this game really shines. It's in the co op play. It's plenty easy to have a solo load out, and stay mobile, but it's something different with a squad.

Tbh, and this wont be a popular opinion, but PC players have been the most toxic to play with. Had to turn off crossplay the first week, even tried recently and first lobby kicked during evac for no reason. I'm level 90, I spread democracy in uncomfortable places bc many won't. Many PC players have a self-righteous attitude that they are God's gift to the gaming world. When 8n reality all they did was spend 10 x the amount as console players and have become jaded and whiney. Oh well, after 300+ hours on this game I find it much more enjoyable not to play with PC or even Xbox (bc let's be honest, Xbox is just pc's ugly cousin). Thank you Sony for not destroying your game with crossplay crybabies!

Neither one of you compare to me, since release, I haven't put the game down, I have 1100+ hours in and now they fuck me. I don't have a PSN because I never needed one, PC Master race, FOR A REASON. Now I can't continue my game, why torture myself into keep going? Right? 0 point.
