They *REALLY* need to stop nerfing guns. They should stop trying to balance the game, and just buff things that are underused, fix the bugs, and give us more content (planets, enemies, etc). Tired of liking a weapon only for it to be nerfed by excel spreadsheet a week later.

The thing about the pummeler is doesn't even seem to be a stagger. Enemies hit by it will go into the stun animation.

Impact incendiary makes some logical sense for Polar Patriots in a practical sense, like thawing frozen bulkheads or something, stuff you cant do in game, but there is at least a shred of logic

The real problem is the Warbounds trailers. The scenes that are shown raise false expectations and in reality things look very bad.

The big problem with the slow fire rate of Purifier is that all of the wait is on the front end. Like the Quasar and Scorcher had a baby, but you have to release to fire the weapon, and the damage is lack luster. It's just meh when the enemies are at distance, but as soon as you're pushed, it's over. It needs graduated damage that allows you to shoot fast and rewards you for holding it longer.

So glad you brought up the break points. Many people just look at the damage and assume it must be good without truly understanding the mechanics behind it. More damage only matters if it changes bullets to kill.

The Verdict being as useless as the Dagger from Cutting Edge is why I don't think Arrowhead should cook any more secondary weapon options up unless they do something like a Stim Pistol utility.

The developers even stated under the "known issues" section that the tenderizer is WAY too underpowered. More so than they intended. So the tenderizer will get some buffs. Overall, yeah I agree the only good things were the smg and fire grenade. Still find it very weird how there's a FIRE grenade in the POLAR patriots warbond.

I used the Verdict in a good 20 hours of play because I iust forgot to switch it out, and it actually did exactly what I needed, which is just to clean up small stuff. But that is more a function of not getting into those situations often. It happens maybe once to three times a game because I tend to hang back in overwatch and snipe. If you are a base rusher, then yeah, you need the senator because that Devastator you didn’t see is just gonna ignore your Verdict.

The new SMG is good compared to other sh*t weapons in the warbond.

The purifier should become an anti tank primary so the stalwart and machine gun can have a place in the game

New warbond once every 2-3 months that are good and the rest of the time fix issues and add more interesting missions and eventually bosses. This will put less strain on the dev.

This is what happens when you're pushing these out every month. You aren't putting in the time to make them *good*, you are just putting them out there as fast as you can. Then, they go in and "balance" them by making everything else they've *already* put out not as good and buffing the new stuff to get you to buy the new warbonds. What they need to do is take a break from throwing out new premium Warbonds, fix some of the stuff that has been broken SINCE LAUNCH, and maybe put more time into making a Warbond actually worth the cost. OR, hey, maybe put out a free Warbond now and then for the new players to enjoy. With the number of "premium warbonds" out and new ones every month, its' going to get to a point where a new player isn't really ever going to be able to "catch up" to people who've been playing it for months and will have way too many to be able to figure out which ones are worth it.

Tenderizer should have medium armor pen or 120 damage. Verdict should get 15 ammo or medium armor pen or 175dmg.

Its not terrible..2 tweaks make it tops 1. AR buff 2. Purifier fire rate equal to blitzer ..but if you hold it can do med penetration

Ok verdict ain’t bad I thaught it would be but I have to say the only bad part is light armor pen Fire grenades op you through them right against a hulk it can kill them.And pumbler is just mmmmmmmmmm what saved the war bond. I think they made it difficult for themselves by just having the "light armor pen" and "medium armor pen" distinction for projectile weapons. I mean ... now you have SMG's that do light pen and assault rifles all doing light pen. So why would you use the rifle over the SMG, the damage and magazine sizes are comparable. Same with the hang gun, you why would anyone use the polar patriots hand gun over the Senator which has medium pen, because if you want light pen just use the forgot what it's called Uzi type secondary.

I feel like its crappy to say this warbond sucks. It has potential to improve, the tenderizer and verdict have strong potential for improvement, its just that they underbalanced these items. The booster needs a bit more "oomph" to it. Other that, I think this warbond is okay, which could be improved to great with the right changes.

New guns in the game don't need to always be better. they just need to be different, give people options on how they want to play. That being said, if you don't like what's in the warbond, you don't have to buy it. There will be more. AND you can also just get whichever warbond you don't necessarily enjoy for free collecting super credits in game! So while I don't like the polar war bond, I will probably just save up in game free super credits for it just for the armors and weapons but at the same time I would like to see them buffed or modified to make them actually viable. There's no reason to release a new weapon with objectively worse stats all around than the stock/base weapons in game, and charge 10 dollars for it. That's just bad business.

Patch day is normally Tues or Wed with arrowhead. Nerf inbound for the pummeller. Scorcher is overperforming so I fully expect them to trash it as well. How dare a PRIMARY weapon be expected to be used most of the time, you know, like what the word PRIMARY means. The weapons being on an old build also reveals some of Arrowhead's inner workings. Their warbond internal dev team does not play the live version of the game, they don't work with it either. They build it and ship it. The balance team supposedly works with the live build. NO ONE actually played it before shipping it. If they had, they would have seen the ammo reload issues with those 2 primaries. They would have seen the poor performance in relation to the trailer. They didn'y play it, they didn't test any of it.

You do know that all the arc weapons do full stagger on all enemies as well as go through armor

It’s pretty bad alright. Sure, they can improve it over time, but it looks bad when so many mistakes were introduced with the warbond. The fire rate on the purifier is more comparable to how the blitzer used to be. All this poor quality and community drama is ruining the game. Player counts have dropped off massively in the last two weeks.

Not terrible per say, but holy this warbond was really underwelming. Impact napalm grenade is nice, I guess. Pummeler SMG stuns enemies, and that has its own niche, particularly against bugs. It stuns everything except for bile titans there. But everything else? Trash. Utter dogshit. Why would you take the Tenderizer over the Liberator? Why would you take the Verdict over the Redeemer or Senator? Why would you take that new plasma gun over the Scorcher?

Im still in the free warbond lol. Id be futher if the game didnt dc/crash evey other match.

The diligence is good though (Against bots at least. Wouldn't take it against bugs.) It can single shot small bots and two shot medium bots like the machine gun and rocket devastators with less recoil and weapon sway than the other marksman rifle. People just think it's bad because they keep taking it into the thick of.the action when you're supposed to, ya know, snipe with a sniper. You're the one providing cover fire, not the one storming the gates.
