Love the diversity of the weapons you’re using, makes the game more enjoyable. Hopefully we get a arc thrower gameplay soon!

I'm trying to find the Arc-thrower build, It's challenging to deal with mob packs and elites popping up at the same time however, I'll keep trying it :)

I tend to find more success to just hit the closest enemy rather than aim at elites with arc thrower. The chain lightning will do the rest. Since it has infinite ammo, you can pair it with pretty much anything heavy hitting like a jar or scorcher

With the current state of the Eruptor, felt like Purifier fits the same bill of a slow-firing crowd control just like Eruptor. Except you trade the niche of being able to close bug holes/fabricator for more sustainability and DPS... which doesn't do much anyways since both are still slow AF and has small AoE. Still, it's exciting to watch you able to take it to Helldive and make it somewhat viable!

The purifier is an interesting weapon. It is easy to assume that it is weak but its not. It is however extremely difficult to use effectively if you do not know how. This is not a front line weapon. The reason people dislike the gun is because it does not jive with the typical run and gun play style that most people use. This is a weapon that excels at back line support, sneak attacks and ambushes. You do not want to be the center of attention when using the Purifier as having to kite really tanks your dps. What you want is to let your other team mates go first and take the heat so you can sit in a good vantage point and rain hell down. In that regard it is very much like a sniper rifle, but unlike a sniper your not aiming for weak spots. The weapons explosive tag sends the majority of the guns damage to the body of the target. The explosion seems to have a sharp damage fall off, but retains its stagger. Due to that hitting the target is always going to deal more damage than splashing shots on the ground. Ground splashes still retain some level of stagger though. The weapons stagger is useful for crowd control. Now here comes the tricky part. The weapon works fantastically when you combine it with stealth. Here is what I mean. Entering combat with the enemy does not negate stealth. By crouching or going prone in a fight you can limit the number of enemies that can see you. Enemies will target the first helldiver they see. If they see no divers they will then target sentries in the area if any. When an enemy can not see a target it will react to sound and try to investigate the source of that sound. So just because an enemy is moving towards you does not mean they see you. Knowing these stealth quirks lets you slink around engagements while your team draws the aggro. This leaves you free to unleash the full dps of the weapon as you no longer need to kite or defend yourself. As long as your charging the weapon right Its fire rate is fairly fast. As long as your hitting your targets its damage output is comparable to the scorcher. The stealth armor passive is probably the best one for the Purifier. Good combo stratagems are the jet pack for added positioning and mobility and Mines. Mines count as a sentry. If the enemy can not see you then they will attack the mines. This typically results in enemies running head long into the mines or running through the minefield to attack your squad mates. In short the Purifier is a devious gun for patient people. As long as you stick to what it does best it will work as well as any shotgun out there.

@@adamporter3402 The issue is that the purifier is a way worse plasma shotgun, it is basically riding a bicycle with triangular wheels, when you have a regular bicycle or even a motorcycle.

Purifier excels at stunning like the plas shorty but has double the mag size. Can do solid damage and stop mobs from advancing.

@@sowl17 OK so you say that, but the audio signatures (length and duration in an editor) are the exact same each time you call a reinforce, 500kg, and air strike. If you didn't want to say what macro software you're using, you could just say that. If you want to portray it as being natural call ins then open up the delays on the macro so they're not at physically impossible speeds.
