Didn't feel the changes to patrols as heavily on this planet, but the storm and environment has its own challenges to deal with. Still more challenging than what it used to be, but definitely doable.

I honestly forgot I was running it this game. I usually go with grenade pistol so I'm still getting used to using it. Close range against some enemies it can be good but the sight on it is pretty horrible.

Yeah, I will start playing more solo or at least host games myself because game has been unplayable due to crashes and bugs reecently. Optimization on PC after recent patch is a joke

Ah yes, the horde shooter game that you beat by running away, hiding, and ignoring combat and letting the computer do most kills with orbitals and eagles. Really scratches my power fantasy itch, this game. Exactly what I want to play - a game where I am afraid of the enemy, most good weapons get nerfed, I get ragdolled around like a Bethesda NPC, and the best way to win is by experiencing as little action content as possible. All while dealing with a host of issues from glitches to crashes that didn't get fixed because fixing the "meta" (aka the weapons people ENJOY in this PvE game) was more important. Again. Kudos to Not Harvard for being as skilled, but I can't help but feel less and less excited to play myself. And I don't think I'm the only one.

Wtf man...dude starts a huge fight and not even ONE reinforcement flare? I see this on EVERY solo helldive vid and I do NOT understand...as soon as i fire a shot or throw a strat they shoot a flare and call in reinforcements. When these guys play it looks like is on lvl 4 or somethin

You weren’t nerfed, the game was nerfed for you on solo missions (or you were artificially buffed before, if you’d rather look at it that way). The devs fixed patrol spawns to be proportional to what a 4 man group would see. Before you were seeing less than you should have. Incredible how much whining there is from the solo helldive community over this pretty common sense change

If you don't play solo helldive your opinion doesn't really matter when it comes to this. Your only clip I can find is of you playing on 7... So maybe get better then try?

Great video, with more that one helldiver it’s not a 25% increase in performance it’s more like 35% or 45%. It’s an exponential gain per Helldiver. The fact that they made it linear is pretty bummy

So they had a balanced way before and than just said f*ck it solo players will be treated like a 4 man squad now? Thats crazy and such a dumb way to split the community... Where is the common sense in that? This is from a outsider's perspective btw i don't own the game but stuff like this makes me curious.

@@TmoTheOne This game has been in development for years, and devs have over 3k hours of playtime testing it before release. This latest update they came out and said that solo play had been unintentionally getting 1/6th the amount of patrols that a 4 person squad would get, when they were supposed to be getting 1/4th. They made the change and the increase is extremely noticeable. Personally, I don't believe them. I think they just saw solo players being too successful at beating their game and came up with an excuse to increase the amount of enemies for solo players.
