Depends on the application, of course. But in general, machining of bores and contours in IT6-7 quality is not a challenge.

@@RAMB0DJOHN The PDK 80 is dedicated for really heavy duty applications. For standard series production we can implement all kinds of standard KOMET and MAPAL actuating heads with HSK-A 63 and HSK-A 100 taper. @@heisenbergisreal5858 könnte sein, aber kann mir vorstellen, dass die Maschine Vibrationssensoren hat und bei zu hoher Belastung stoppt. Und ich glaube auch nicht, dass die das nicht bedacht haben :P

no it won't, dynamic loads aren't high enough, unless someone manages to bypass all safety measures and spin this one up to 15k rpm with the tool offset, but then probably the spindle bearings won't be the biggest problem either :)
