the MacBook air doesn't have the same display as the MacBook pro. That liquid xdr and higher brightness is a big improvement

The 13" MacBook Pro was so much more popular than the Air in some markets. I almost never saw anyone buy the Air over the 13" Pro

I would pay apple £100 to enable the clamshell dual monitor mode on my M1 MBA. I have a dual 4K monitor setup that I wish I could use with my MacBook. At this rate it’s more cost efficient for me to buy a dedicated dual monitor capable M2 Mac Mini for £649 as opposed to upgrading to an M3 MBA.

We bought a Mac Book Air M2 just a couple of weeks ago for a new employee and could not believe that you cannot use two monitors with it. Tried everything to get around it but there simply is no way. For a non Mac user it really is often suprising to find such obvious and unnessecary limitations that apperently are just normal for Apple users.

Nice conversation on emulators. There is a genuine business case for unifying all of the odd consoles of old on to a single device. Emulation seems to be the only way to do that. If a small one-time fee could be paid for all the games on a legacy console, I would pay it... but for sure emulating the new stuff is bad when the original hardware is still being manufactured/supported.

There’s another opportunity for a graph without numbers with the MacBook Air, with the Y-axis being how good they are at AI and the X-axis being a random selection of old Intel powered netbooks plus a M3 Air out on it’s own 😂

One hypocritical thing that Apple does is spout How much do they care about our safety and security and at the same time they require my bank to send me a login code via SMS, an old insecure protocol, instead of adopting RCS.
