Hongbin is surreal, yes he's really beautiful on screen and in MVs but they always edit everything to show the best of the idol... When I see him on variety shows it takes me by surprise how truly gorgeous he is... Back to the concerns ;)

I felt so good when Ken said openly about drinking problems in his family, I can relate because I had the exact same problem. I'm glad that my lovely bias is not afraid to speak about things like this (for me it would be hard). Alcoholism needs to be cured in every case.

I almost cried when Ken and Hongbin talked. my dad drank a lot too and smoked too. he would always get late at night at home bc he was drinking at a bar, I barely saw him, we barely talked. and I lost my grandpa and grandma long ago, so it made me sympathize with Hongbin as well. but I'm glad they're able to talk about this in public. they're normal people too. hearing their stories will probably help that man to stop drinking.

I am so proud of Ken for being able to speak about such a sensitive subject he has never once mentioned before and I can't remember the last time Hongbin choked up like that... They both got uncharacteristically serious to make sure their words reach the dad, they truly have such kind hearts.

I LOVE animals, im actually a vegetarian and I believe in animal rights, to me my pets are like my children HOWEVER I would never treat my own child lesser than my pets thats just f***** up tbh

Me too. I am actually vegan. But the thing is you don't do your dog a favour treating it like a human being. Dogs organize themselves in a pack just like wolves. In a family the dog always needs to be under everyone else. If the dog thinks he is above a family member it might ''attack'' the family member because it wants to correct behavior. Besides dogs don't need any special treatment. They like to be patted (not on the head and they don't like hugs), they like to be near their family and they like to play and take long walks. I honestly don't get why people treat dogs like humans. They are not humans they are dogs. Don't get me wrong. I have a dog and I love her a lot, but that is why I treat her adequately.

I love my dogs, but i always scold them when they do something wrong. But this is so freaking wrong. I bet if i have a mom like that, i would literally try to sell the dogs away and register my mom to a psychiatrist cuz she is just messed up... humans are humans and pets are pets. This is just fuckd up

That last concern actually made me cry. I started sobbing when Hongbin started to choke up talking about his grandmother, and Ken talking about his Dad's drinking problem. I had a feeling it was going to be like that when the concern came up, but I still ended up balling with them. Ken and Hongbin both went through so many difficulties when they were young, and Hongbin is really so connected with his Grandmother. He talks about her all the time!!! He's so proud of her, and the fact that it was the sons grandmother that brought up the concern I feel like really connected him with it that much more. ㅠㅠ ㅠㅠ I should go dry my tears now.

Honestly I came to get my Vixx fix but Ken and Hongbin really killed me here; in that last concern i could really feel their sincerity. I cried when Hongbin did because it meant so much to him that this father change. Both of them wrecking my bias list.

The mother from the first concern.. She needs to set her priorities. She may be saying that in front of people, that her daughter comes first, but I can see that she doesn't mean it. She's blinded. I know pets can be lovely and too adorable, but putting them before your family, and moreover, an only daughter, is worse than anything. Her daughter's a lovely girl. She's cute, responsible, kind, and understanding. I honestly would love to have someone like her as my future daughter.

bubblegum What the mother is doing is called child neglect. Her daughter can have sever depression and anxiety and maybe even commit suicide. I know this because I've been through the same thing. Except the dogs were my older and my younger sister. I wanted to feel loved by my mom, but she would always neglect me. I'm already getting bullied at school that the fact that my mom doesn't love me anymore. I'm even scared to come home because I know I'll have have to deal with it. My mom has told me to die once, abd to be honest...I believe her

Anjana Rao I wish I can come to people who has depression or anxiety to calm them down or to cheer them up whenever I want....... We still don't know if the mother is still treating her daughter like a dog.....or if the mother is treating the dogs like she should be treating her own daughter. I feel bad for her because she will go through puberty soon.....My only question left is.... *Will she keep her mouth shut like she said?*

Hongbin strikes to me as the type of person who would avoid displaying more sensitive type of emotions (touched/sad). It seems like he'll either play it off as a joke (mostly when he's touched) or mask it with anger (mostly when he's sad). So to be able to see him on the verge of tears on national television would mean that his grandmother really means that much to him.

Hongbin in last concern tho.. I didn't know he was raised by his grandmother and it was so sad to see him cry I teared up too. But I gotta say his smile is so beautiful like I'm in love with his smile my gosh. Also I can't forget Ken ofc I'm really sad to hear that his family had problem with alcohol and he can't really drink it because of that. I hope they stay healthy and happy forever.

The mother in the first concern is acting like a 6 year old who wants attention. How is she treating her 13 year old daughter like she's less than a dog just because she dismisses you when you say "I love you" on the phone. Well of course she'd dismiss you, because you care more about your damn dogs than your own daughter ffs.

Poor girl at the first concern... I FREAKING LOVE ANIMALS and I treat them like people but I give more attention to the people I love my family and my boyfriend... Yes I love my 2 dogs but when it comes to a HUMAN being it's totally different, I feel really bad for that girl.. That mother will really regret what she did to her daughter... And the girl is so young. She needs her mother!

really, for God sake how the hell you going to treat your daughter worse than a dog, maybe because i'm not a animals lover, so i can't understand how you going to treat them like that?? i mean, it's okay if you spoil them, but they need to be trained, my mom loves dogs, and she hate yell them or something but what she do first is teach what they can and can't do, OMG THEY BITE HER IN THE FACE!!! WHAT ELSE SHE NEED TO REALIZED THOSE DOGS NEED TO BE TRAINED!!!! As an animal lover who lived 5years on a small animal farm the way she treats her dogs over her daughter is not ok! There are some instances were the animals come first like when they are giving birth or injured. My 3year old baby sister is growing up around my aunt's dog, he is a giant great dane, saint bernard, lab mix. He could seriously hurt someone if he wanted, but my aunt and uncle trained him extremely well. My baby sister jumps on him, takes toys out of his mouth, and pulls his tail and touches his face. He has growled at her once because he was really tired and wanted to sleep, and my uncle sent him to his kennel for that (he never goes to his kennel) that is a good family dog! A good family dog doesn't bite the family!!!!

Even animal lovers won’t do that. I love animals, like I live in a house with 2 cats, 2 dogs and a parrot but they never come before human. They’re trained real well to never bite, injured or even jump on tables. A dog who bites often has to be sent to a boot camp so the professionals could get involve before it gets worse, if the owner couldn’t train them themselves.

i think some of these problem (like the alchool and the water thing) should be seen by a psichiatrist not a tv show i hope they go there too , just because you make promise on tv and they laugh about it ,this will not make the problem dissapear especially the one with allchool like the fact that he wake up the kid at 1 am to clean his bottle and swear at them will obviously give the kid problem growing up (i personally experience that, like it's really stressfull and putting it with daily problem with school etc... is even worse)... like i actually rolled my eyes so bad at him saying "i can't afford taking my mum at the denstist" like yeah but you don't seem having problem buying drink (i know suju is really cheap but with how much he drink he could actually save up for his mom sake , especially when she probrably clean his shit and rise his kids, but still work while he just lay at home drinking)

I got really upset as well, especially when he said "I wish my mother would understand" BUT he is also dealing with a emotional and mental struggle. As much as I would love to beat his ass up and be like "you piece of garbage look what you are doing to your own damn mother who's still working her ass off at the age of 70"...we have to understand that you can't get to people like that. They need help. Even if you want to do something a lot of times for addicts it's hard to take that first time. I think the mother should stop giving him money(if she does) and kick his ass out until he decides to clean up his act.

I'm so annoyed that the mum and hosts turned the first concern back on to the daughter tbh. The mother was obviously in the wrong and got out of it by saying it was the daughters fault. This show really irritates me sometimes.

I don't think so. The mom was trying to show her side too. she should have a chance to be sincere and to show her feelings. but the way she managed her feelings are still wrong. she tried to replace her daughter with pets only because her daughter is growing up, meeting friends and all that. and the audience saw that, their votes were high. but it doesn't mean her daughter should shut her mom down. she should talk to her more.

I love watching Hello Counselor, but you guys definitely need someone like Dr Yang Jaejin as a permanent member of the cast. The mother who loves her dogs more than her daughter needs consistent psychiatric help. Her daughter is not responsible for her poor choices, and somehow this poor child was made to feel as if her mother's abusive behavior was her fault. The wife in the second concern needs to see a another doctor; she's already suffering from hyponatremia and worse case scenario, God forbid, she ends up with water intoxication. Regarding the last concern, when it comes to alcoholism, as a non-Korean, it seems to me that sometimes the cast and audience of this show (and Korean society in general) is rarely willing (or able) to differentiate between social drinking and alcoholism. A good amount of people didn't think that Grandmother's concern was even a concern. It also worries me that we rarely find out whether or not the show arranges for people like the dad in the last concern to have treatment for alcoholism. I don't expect for HC to pay for it, but I do expect for them to connect these sick people with the proper medical authorities so that they can get the help they so obviously need. Sorry, I wrote a book. I love this show, but they worry me.

I was doing ok....and then Hongbin. You precious Bean. As soon as he started to talk about his grandma and got emotional; I lost it. My grandmother passed away almost 9 years ago, and she was the biggest role model in my life. It hurts, I hope he can change for his kids and his mother

The concerns always get me annoyed and upset but seeing Yeongja being the friendliest, most caring and the most thoughtful person possible in every episode lightens up my days. She's amazing, I wish all the good things for her ❤️ what a funny but warm person...more people should be like that

There are people who are drowned with their own problems, they forgot who is important in their lives. And even sometimes, can get too caught up with health tips / issues until got themselves over worried for irrational reasons. I think the last concern in this episode really had an impact on both VIXX Ken & Hongbin. Ken, as his family members have many alcohol-related diseases while Hongbin was brought up by his grandmother. I salute grandma for coming up to this show for his son :)

It's sad and frustrating to see how the first problem would have entered a chain of events if the daughter didn't submit her story: the mom didn't understand how to love properly as a mother because she lost her mother at a young age, and because her daughter was being brought up and exposed to that, she could have ended up treating her kids the same

The first concern and the last one hit hard in the feels. With the first concern, she needs to train her dogs and both the mother and daughter need to express themselves more to each other. Last concern, I understand how the mother and his children feel. I just hope he stop or drink reasonable amount before its too late.

The first concern really pissed me off. I love animals, I really do. In some cases, a pet can be more reliable than human friends. But that's your daughter?? You're the adult?? How can you turn around this issue and blame your daughter for pushing you away when you're the one who acted like a child and went about it passive aggressively instead of actually talking to her when you felt alone? Act like an adult and take responsibility for your actions. I hate pet owners who fail to train their pets and instead treat them like humans. She needs to wake up before her daughter gets sick of her childishness and actually leaves her in the future for university.

I'm concern for the pregnant woman. People can die from being overhydrated because it causes your cells to burst and other medical complications can happen because too much water creates an imbalance in the system. My friend had to go to a hospital because her body shut down on her after being too hydrated after she started drinking more water so she wouldn't be dehydrated. When I started working outside during the summer, I drank so much water that I eventually went from dehydrated to overhydrated and experience more thirst and fatigue than I did when I was dehydrated. The symptoms of being overhydrated are the same as being dehydrated except with probably more noticable like intense thirst which makes you drink more. She needs to detox with limited water for a few days or weeks cause she could potentially kill herself by accident. Water addiction is better than alcohol addiction but too much water can shockingly kill you.

The last concern " A mother who is worried about heavy drinker son" He is an alcoholic, her son is an alcoholic , why don't they call it as it is? he can not TRY to drink less...he is sick, he is in no condition to make these promises he will break them for sure! the whole conversation is strange. He needs to be admitted to a rehabilitation centre or something...

In regarding the second concern, it is sad that the lady lost her father and all but drinking water in substitute to alcohol is never an excuse. I feel bad for her husband and for her body's system because even if she knows that excessive water is bad, she has to take it more seriously because diluting the concentrations in the blood is very dangerous.

Last concern needs better coping mechanism, rehab and AA. Its sad but at this point he is certainly an alcoholic. Hopefully he realize that he needs to live for himself and his kids. We can't always judge what people show us. Not everyone he sees with a smile are happy. Good luck to him and his family

Omg I'm so frustrated with the first concern. Instead of fixing why she is like that they are Turing back to the daughter. She afraid her daughter gonna leave her and betray her but she the one who's is doing first by ignoring her daughter for the dog. kids want to go out with friends sometimes and nothing wrong with that but no she blame her daughter and trying to look like she the one who's hurt. If my leg hurt my mom would do anything to help me get better but this mom ignores her I wish I was there so give her a piece of my mind ugh🙄 she said that the girl is starting to "rebellion" just wait until couples more year and you will see what a real rebellion year is if she keep doing what she doing now.

omg, I love dogs but that first concern mom was so annoying... dogs shouldn't be treated as persons, they should be loved but as what they are, animals. The poor girl was feeling so sad... I hope she can be treated better in the future.
