Hello Counselor should also invite Doctors or Psychiatrists to explain or deal with unusual behaviors or actions. The one who has that concern maybe has something that's going on, so they should really hire someone to deal with problems like that in the second concern.

I can't believe they didn't get the second guy checked out for narcolepsy. Actually I can believe it, they never push for actual medical interventions or psychiatric treatment on this show.

Yeah they don't. This is a serious condition. It sounds like narcolepsy. Poor guy is getting bashed for something he can't help. It's obvious that he doesn't know why he's like that either.

After the show i am sure people will comment on show forums, post on sns and maybe doctor will call the show ask for his contact. Things like that happen a lot. Or maybe the show cut the part they talking about the illness.

@KBSWorldTV pls get the man who sleeps to much on 안녕하세요 to see doctor. He might be suffering from HYPERSOMNIA. He cannot control when he falls asleep. He needs MEDICAL HELP. He must consult a doctor. This is a real medical condition.

I don't understand why they didn't do it as well, while they consulted with doctor for something lighter like making sure your nose is real. He sounds like he needs medical consultation. Hope after the show he goes to the doctor. Just because he is always like that since little, doesn't mean he doesn't have illness. Ken is right for asking him blatantly whether he has illness or not.

Yes it definitely sounds a lot like Narcolepsy and quite a severe one. He even fell down the stairs so sleep really hits him even when he's standing somewhere. It's so dangerous, he should not be working at all until he receives proper treatment, but especially not somewhere above the ground. So many things could happen. He might just walk on the streets and suddenly feel sleepy, doze off and fall down. :/

He may have sleep apnea too - the person doesn't realise that they are not breathing while asleep therefore; in reality they only get 2 hours of sleep instead of 8/9.

The second concern .... that's a VERY common symptom of HYPOTHYROIDISM or ( underactive thyroid ) too .. he should go get some tests done !!. My mom used to sleep a lot all of sudden, while we were talking .. while we were in a public place .. in the car.. even standing.. and the end it was so late her thyroid became swallowed (then we noticed too late) and then was needed to be completely removed. *if not it could chock him while breathing and kill the person*. they could give him pills to control it now ... I REALLY hope he sees a doctor before its too late. I have no idea why Koreans/or in hello counselor some medical conditions are being laughed or joked at ...

Rori K. I'm no doctor but I think he has Hypersomnia! Hypersomnia makes the patient feel extremely tired all the time which results in sleeping for e.g 48 hours or falling asleep during the daytime while performing tasks. Hypersomnia is an illness itself but it might also be a symptom for another illnesses such as mental illnesses, anemia or hypothyroidism. There's a slight chance he could be suffering from narcolepsy as well (basically narcolepsy makes you fall asleep very suddenly during daytime) but he told that he doesn't feel refreshed after sleeping and a patient suffering from narcolepsy Does feel refreshed after sleeping. Anyways, he NEEDS to pay a visit to the doctor's because he quite obviously has SOME kind of an illness!!!!!

+Rori K. what comes to my mind throughout listening to the 2nd concern is sleeping beauty syndrome or also called Kleine-Levin Syndrome (KLS). this syndrome is a rare mental disorder.

Regarding the second concern, the sleeping man .. there is actually a sickness that makes people always sleepy and sleep unconsciously everywhere. He should see doctor and not just being scold by other people for always sleeping. Hello Counselor should always do research first and really solve the problem instead of just talking about it.

exactly my point. the korean culture is too unaware of mental health and other health issues other than physical .. im korean anditz been really hardfor me, growing up in a western environment so being western by nature but my hardcore korean famirie didnt know ANYTHING. i always got told off about everything that i shouldnt have for a lot of the times

I think the guy in the second concern has some kind of sleeping disorder. If that's so, then it's ridiculous that people are saying he chooses to sleep too much and getting mad/blaming him for his behavior. He really needs to get some medical help and have a sleep study done.

The 2nd one is a very serious concern. Many of the audience members look at him with a frown thinking he's lazy and all he does is sleep. Without a professional diagnosis I would say he definitely has narcolepsy, which many people have never heard of. That being said, he can't help it when he falls asleep. His could be due to a lack of a certain enzyme that we have in our brain and more so one of the triggers is anxiety. Being that he has a fear of heights that is a huge trigger. He needs to seek medical help as there are certain medications that may help him and improve his life. I hope someone in his circle has heard of narcolepsy and urges him to get help. I believe there are some places in the US that may not allow you to drive if you have narcolepsy for the safety of everyone.

refresh my memory .. they did win right? Unfortunately they really don't follow-up with them .. they just sit there in the winners seat each week. That's the only downfall to this show. They don't need to only know the problem but what the cause is and what the solutions are.

I used to be a subber for a while and it seems that adding subtitles on KZfaq videos are easier to do. Hardsubs require some more time in typesetting and encoding. If the translator makes a mistake, the video can't be fixed unless he/she takes it down then re-upload it. However, it can be fixed aa if nothing has ever happened by using the editing tool on KZfaq ;3 I guess the translator has thought about that.

Dawn Lee That's not the reason. KBS WORLD don't sub for fun. It's an actual broadcasting station, uploading their videos here bring in money too but there have been people downloading and uploading their videos on other places which has become a problem. Having raw videos and adding CC subtitles will probably help solving that problem. I'm just thankful they come with up with something to solve this rather then stop posting videos all together.

Did anyone else notice that the sister in the last concern never separated her teeth when she spoke. I'm not hating on her or anything it is just something I noticed and wondered if anyone else noticed too. Maybe she has some sort of jaw disorder like maybe TMJ or something I am not very familiar with many jaw illnesses, or maybe she just wants to keep her mouth like that, No Judge

I swear when I first saw Ken's name, I was so happy, now only the other five members left (I am getting greedy)!!!! About the concerns: 1. They can fix it easily by compromising. 2. Everyone is blaming the guy for being sleepy and making his friend a victim but I felt bad for him cause it's not like he does it on purpose, it seems like it's a disorder or something so I hope he goes to a doctor. And what sucks the most is that no one is pointing that out, as always even with OCD, they just let it go. 3. It's very cute to see a sister loving her brother so much, so I don't think it's that bad but it could be embarrassing in school since he is at a sensitive age!!!!

A lot of countries aren't as familiar and open about mental diseases and different medical conditions like narcolepsy. The doctors and medical professionals may know about it but the general public may not. It's a cultural thing I suppose.

I know I'm not the only one who ADORES Sungwoo, he is so damn fine. I don't care about the age difference, I am ridiculously thirsty when it comes to him. I have no shame. Also, for the last concern the 7th grader really was precious. He's so adorable, I just wanted to squeeze his little cheeks, but I especially loved his and Chanu's little exchange like they were pouring glasses of soju for each other, I could not stop laughing it was too cute. P.s.- Monsta X at the end though. Eeeeek my babies!!!😘😘😘

Haha this is funniest ep i have watched so far I think the guy with the sleep problem should get himself checked since he involuntarily falls asleeps it might be a medical condition The last concern is so cute tho but I wanna say to the brother, treasure all the love and attention while you can because I am an older sister with a little brother myself and when we were younger my brother and I were really close but an incident happened and we didnt talk for a while and now after we have grown older we have our own lives and we barely talk to each other. So I wanna say that treasure while you can coz once you start pushing the other away it will just accumulate and your relationship will never be as good as before
