2 жыл бұрынJohn and George both plugged their Epiphone Casinos into the same Vox Hybrid Amp- most likely a Conqueror or UL730. They used the same technique on Lady Madonna
Playing through my 1965 Fender Bassman amp, with an Aclam Dr. Robert Overdrive. This is a pedal based on the exact Vox UL730 amp! I also used my Strymon Deco pedal on my two guitar tracks to get that flange/double-tracked sound

Sorry, I am just discovering this video of last year! However, even after one year, it is still excellent 😁. It gives me a lot of clues to play it also by myself. It very well filmed and we can see the position of the fingers perfectly (both guitar and piano). I also like the "stars" reflecting on the piano ✨😏 All the best, knarf from France 🎸🇨🇵

Absolutely amazing, man! I may sound a little picky or obsessed, but I always thought that the final riff was played with a metal slide by George, but you nailed it, it's exactly the same sound. Cheers!

What do you do with the tempo? It's always very accurate and I don't know if you use any kind of metronome or something like that

I absolutely adore this videos, your versions teach me a lot and are such a joy to listen to. I am curious and its absolutely not a criticism! on the piano you play without your thumb on the right hand, is that a technical choice or is that just the way you learned/self taught etc? No problem. I'm sure if you started using your thumb on the lowest note of your right hand it would be much easier to play the chords, but you can do it however you want. Great job on your covers!@@sampopkin

Yeah it’s a bit of a long story but here it goes- I originally recorded the piano for this song on a Steinway model b grand but somehow the video files got deleted. So this is actually me miming along on a different piano (Steinway baby grand) to the original piano track I did. The baby grand isn’t setup well and has broken keys

Yeah I’m pretty sure it was into the same amp too. On every version (rock band stems, anthology, stereo, love) the guitars are in the same spot

Everybody's Got Something To Hide, Fixing a Hole, Glass Onion, Hey Bulldog for sure. Revolution 1 was Rocky into Fender Blonde Bassman. And Oh Darling! was Twin Reverb with overdrive added in post (tube console distortion)

@@sampopkin Could that be what he did on Revolution 1? I know tube amps get crunchy over a certain volume, but the distortion is so intense, I'm convinced George's main guitar part was through the Conqueror. Reports also conflict as to when he actually added it.

@@elirosen1391 there are two electrics on Revolution 1- a crunchier one that sounds like the Conqueror. Then a rhythm electric that is more likely the strat-bassman. I haven’t figured out which is which for sure though
