WOW Lisa!!!! This layout is absolutely gorgeous!! 😀🩷🌸🦋🐰🫶🏻👍🏼🌼 This has to be my all-time FAVORITE layout that you’ve ever done!! All of the thought and work that you put into this is absolutely amazing! And I really love that you used a lot of embellishments! Usually when we buy collection kits, there’s all sorts of embellishments to go with the kit! so it was so nice to see you using up so much stuff you totally rocked this layout! Thank you Elizabeth!!! I usually don't use a ton of embellishments on my layouts, but this was refreshing to just 'go wild' with the embellishments. I planned out my next couple layouts and stay tuned because I think you are really going to enjoy them.

I love everything about these pages! The biggest thing I love though is that you do this every year for you and Eli ❤️ it’s a beautiful, thoughtful memory for you both. The stitching and embellishments are perfect and not overbearing cuz the photos are 4x6. I enjoyed the Zoom meeting today. Maybe I can contribute more next time. I did complete some of the phases before my surgery. I just didn’t hv the energy for discussion lol. TFS

I like how you used your die to cut out the squares. I have trouble trimming straight too. I do want to do one of these layouts where you use a grid pattern. I think some of my collection may have squares like this. Your layouts look fantastic! Your stitching is amazing. I just did my stitching on my sewing machine.

I purchased that die after doing another square layout and being so frustrated with it. Worth every penny! Simple Stories is known for the sheet of 2x2 squares, so I am sure you have some in your collections. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I tried stitching with a machine and it didn't go well. I have to stick to hand stitching.

Wow! Are you kidding??! This layout is amazing! I stop too early. I’m getting encouragement and learning to embellish a little more from you! I always get hung up on clusters. Oh, I think you said you hand sew on the pages. Dumb ? But do you have a video showing how you do that?

Thank you Milly! Clusters can be a tough one, but I'm glad I can be an inspiration. I don't have a dedicated video to my hand sewing but I talk about it in a lot of videos and have slowed it down in some.

I have the same Big Shot as you. It didn't look like you were using the clear plastic plates that came with it, but instead you had the magic mat. How does that work?

I have one clear plate for the top and then the magic mat for the bottom. I have had it about 6 months now and I am really enjoying it. I don't get that 'cracking' sound that I use to get with the plastic plates. It is also very easy to clean, I just use a bristle brush and soap.
