Back from a battle with cancer! Too frequent for us firefighters. Glad to be here and able to share some valuable lessons learned on a residential structure fire that was more than it appeared. This is an after action review using helmet camera footage. The experience emphasized the importance of reevaluation, repositioning and never knowing what you are going to get when you make that plunge with the chainsaw while conducting vertical ventilation.
