I would say fantasy because that’s what I love, but if you’re more inspired to do the contemporary, write that! And definitely pray about it!! 🤍📚

My brain is always flitting between projects, so I totally understand the challenge of wanting to write two things at the same time. I guess if you write the new story the time it takes you to write it means your editing will be stronger when you return to the second draft because you’ll have spent time away from it, so you’ll be able to approach it from a fresh perspective. And that way you’ll be able to approach the completed first draft with more clarity too. Can’t wait for more content 🥰

Oh, I completely understand your struggle. I have a bit of the same issue this summer. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do the rewrites on my old book or start a new one. Something I did that helped, I sat down and tried to work on rewrites and the love for the book came back, so I have decided to stick with rewrites this summer. Maybe you could try to edit the fantasy for one writing session then try to work on the new book in the other writing session and then see which one went better. Maybe that will help you to decided. Just a suggestion. 😃 Ultimately, just pray, God will guide you in the end. 💙

I would work on the one I already started. I like to keep focused on one thing so I don't leave both not finished. 😅
