Following the huge success of my first video about Randy Rainbow, I was bombarded with fans calling me. I've wanted to address the phenomenon of these fans so I decided to make another video. It's specifically directed to the person responsible for my new found popularity, the one and only Randy Rainbow. ‪@RandyRainbowOfficial‬ #parody #beachboys

The humor, music and phone conversations have a very Randy Rainbow-ish style. I thought the ending would have a plot twist where Randy shows up to announce that he edited the video and wrote the script.

Hilarious! I am a fan of the Beach Boys. Help Me Rhonda is one of my favorites. I'll bet Brian Wilson would approve. Randy is a super star. But who, I asked, is Gordon Lustig? Well, now I know. Way to go Gordon. Very funny video. By the way, my late mother-in-law, born in Germany and naturalized citizen of the USA in the late '40's, was named Lustig before her marriage. Keep us smiling Gordon.

Is it recently you've been enjoying RR's pre-song parody work of the 2010s? Your "manipulative editing" on the RR phone conversation was amazing. (It's a lot harder to do than it looks, and almost no one else really pulls it off.) Love the pink glasses bat signal and Mel Gibson among the celebs. Thanks for the laughs.

@@maryschmidt8075 Yes, he is making a parody. Was my English unclear? The “ripping off” part is how he is copying Randy Rainbow’s comedic stylings, ie, the phone call bit, then the song parade, except in an inferior as I was just a song, not a show tunes song. It’s not ok to steal someone’s comedic bit and jokes and perform them as your own. Was that a bit clearer. You just don’t steal and copy someone’s act.
