She has acted in 2 Tamil films: "Idhu Sathiyam" (Singara Therukku Selai Katti) and "Hey Ram" (2000). In 1964, she auditioned for the role in "Vennira Aadai" which later went to "Nirmala" but was dropped after she had acted in a few scenes, when Director Sridhar (who she was introduced to by Dir K Subramaniam, father of Bharatnatyam Padma Subramaniam) felt that she had no star appeal. Earlier she had acted in a short episode as dancer in Pandava Vanavasam, a 1961 Telugu film.
