Step One: Get over the embarrassment. Step Two: See a doctor. Step Three: Go for the banding if your situation can be resolved that way. Step Four: Go under the knife with an experienced surgeon. Step Five: After you recover, it's oatmeal, psyllium fiber, bran flakes, spinach, kale, and collards + plenty of fluids. DO NOT SUFFER IN SILENCE. A good doc will fix you up!

I delayed Step One for years because of embarrassment. Became very anemic over the years. Eventually proceeded to Step Two and saw a doctor who implemented Step Three. Banding nearly killed me through severe blood loss and I proceeded to Step Four and Emergency surgery. I follow Step Five religiously now (fiber supplements essential). And down 2 glasses of water every morning.

I experienced this problem for a good part of my life. Several daily modifications completely resolved all elimination issues. The first modification was not to spend any extra time sitting on the toilet attempting to force more bowl movement. The second routine change was to raise my feet on top of a small foot stool while sitting on the toilet, this makes it so much easier to get things moving. The third was what you have mentioned, get more soluble fiber into my daily diet, my choice is an organic oatmeal. The forth daily modification is to hydrate with a nice tall glass of water in the morning immediately upon awakening, this really helps for a healthy easy bowl movement. By me doing all these things every day has completely eliminated any hemorrhoid issues including irritable bowl syndrome. 👍

I have followed the exact same steps and I can verify this all works extremely well. I once was on a laxative every 4 days. Now It has been over a year and half. going on 2 years and I have only experienced an issue where I needed a laxative once. Follow these steps and you will not be disapointed. Especially where water is consumed immediately after waking.

@ali akbar What you describe reads like stress. Take warm baths allow heat to relax you and those hemorrhoids, this bath will work better with Epsom salt. If it's stress and you suspect that than find ways to de stress whatever it takes. Meditation, doing something you love, media that is uplifting, etc. Get fluids and increase potassium and magnesium. When you do try and go raise your feet on a stool and relax. Breathe from the belly. Don't try to force it. That makes the hemorrhoid worse.

Thank you TWD, for the education for those that want it but can't afford it. I used to suffer from the roids. I also used to push while I had a bowel movement. The key is breathing. If you can breathe in and out while they do their thing, you will not be pushing. We tend to hold our breath or release it slowly when we push. Changed everything. Haven't had an issue since I adopted this technique.

Back in my youth I was in a medical Explorer Scout Post. One of the 16mm movies (this was back LONG before video tapes) we checked out from the hospital library was about removing hemorrhoids. I think that night several members of our post decided medicine was not their career path. I'm surprised she didn't talk about water soluble vs non-soluble fiber. For example, oatmeal is mostly water soluble, where has wheat bran is non-soluble. The latter is best for the digestive track. She lightly touched on it when she mentioned bran buds.

@@Adam-oz1vm So, all jokes aside, when I was a young'n, i had that problem. I wasn't well trained in the best things to eat so there was a lot of constipation involved. Constipation is a sign of not enough fiber and the lack of sufficient hydration. Also, going to the washroom and pushing is what really pushes out the hemorrhoids. Over the years, I learned what to do to avoid them and keep one's self "regular." For one, drinking lots of liquids throughout the day is a good start. As for fiber, one of my favorite things to eat in the morning is super high in fiber. Here's what I do. I take a bowl and put in some blueberries. I add the following: - a few bits of Shreddies & Bran (cereal), low sodium - a bit of Corn Flakes (no or low in sodium, low to no sugar) - some peanuts and Almonds - 2 tbls Wheat Germ - 2 tbls crushed Flax Seed - 2 tbls Chia Seed (whole) - to sweeten, I use either Splenda or "no sugar added" syrup I then put HOT water into it, mix thoroughly and add a little bit of 2% milk. This combo is so high in fiber, low in sodium, low in actual sugar.and just tastes amazing. After a few hours, LET ME TELL YA.... you feel the effects, if you know what I mean. And of course, when going to do your business, no pushing. Seriously, pushing really is a huge contributor to roids.

I feel like screaming right now, I am so excited, Im down here in South Africa and it's festive season most doctors are in holiday with their families but you guys saved my life from ridiculous pain. I first watched your video three times while in serious pain with a fistula, I was helplessly lying on my stomach because it was too painful to sit or stand. I had had it for 3days and it was growing so fast. I just followed your instruction. I sent my sis to buy witchhazel, she found the one mixed with rose water, I poured it on cotton pads and stuck it between for 3-4 hours continuasly the following day it burst, I cleaned it. I'm pain free now while l wait to see my doctor on Wednesday just for check up. I love you guys for this.

It doesn't seem to be mentioned very often, but trying to get to the cause was the only solution in my case, after 15 years of numerous banding procedures which would work for a period of time but only to have more issues after a few months - uncomfortable and frustrating. However, removing LACTOSE from my diet totally stopped my hemorrhoid issues. Yes - increasing fiber is certainly important, but look at other parts of your diet to see if there are impacts. In fact, my surgeon eventually said to me that 1 in 10 of his patients that Lactose played a part in the cause of this painful issue.

Pretty comical and informative advice. I have to agree with your esteemed guests mother on the age old cement question. And although not from a cement block, my story is that I was a construction worker who for a very brief period of time in my mid twenties sat on single family home slabs of freshly cured concrete, even using a piece of cardboard between and pretty quickly had hemorrhoids. These slabs weren't any colder than anything else I was sitting on so I surmised that it was more due to the fact that concrete dissipates moisture, (while creating heat), when it cures. As soon as a recognized this pain in the butt I changed my ways and the roids went away. I recommend start with a bag a concrete in the morning, mix well with water, allow it 24 hours to cure and have a seat for 30 minutes four or five times a day and let us know.

Sounds pretty bad Trevor. They categorize hemorrhoid in four stages. Yours sounds like stage 3 where it protrudes and you're still able to manually push it back in. It's not going to get better on its own. This thing will progress to stage 4 where you will not be able to push it back in at all. So you need to have it addressed as soon as possible.

Do you sit in one place for more than an hour at a time? Do you eat a lot of bread, pasta, red meat, or spicy foods? If you can avoid sitting as often as possible and add a ton of fresh fruits and vegetables into your dietm and keep the bad stuff to a minimum I bet you'll be better in 3 weeks and in 6 weeks you'll have no more trouble as long as you keep doing the right things and stop doing the wrong things.

This video and All Bran Buds literally changed my life, amazing how regular my bowel movement have become simply by eating Bran Buds every morning for breakfast. Of course I have to doctor them up by adding cinnamon, honey and banana. Thank you so much, I struggled for years prior to watching this video.

Been constipated all my life. I’ve had two hemorrhoidectomy‘s which I do not recommend under any circumstances but presented to the doctor large hardened blood clots, extremely painful unable to walk I was never offered the steroid suppositories. I found that bran actually made my hemorrhoids worse. I now take a stool softener with each meal, exercise regularly, drink plenty of water and stay away from raw vegetables and any kind of roughage like bran.

I just found you guys. I love you already. My hemorrhoids rarely swell up any more. I don’t allow myself to become constipated. I take 2000 mg of magnesium which keeps me going and helps to keep leg cramps away. Be blessed Doctors and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. 🤗

Great video! I've one that hits a nerve making me feel extremely dehydrated and nausiated. It's SUDDEN and nightmarish. Fortunaetly, topical oinments like dollar store versions of Pep-H still give quick relief. But it comes back over and over over the years and I wish it didn't even exist.

I had a severe case when I was in my late 30s. Bleeding was significant enough to lower my heamoglobin. Initially, my GP was lancing the ones with clots and expelling the clot, or injecting anti coagulant. She finally sent me to a surgeon & I had surgery which included rubber bands. I was off work for over a month. The surgeon at the time told me to eat 2 tablespoons of psyllium husk daily. I have been putting that in a bowl of cereal daily and have never had a recurrence in 30 years. As you know, psyllium is a major component in a popular laxative product, but I just get it at the bulk store and avoid the sugar and colour in the packaged laxative. I don't notice it in a bowl of cereal.

Psyllium Husks helped me too. I still take a tbsp dissolved in a glass of water first thing in the morning. Everyday.

"Eating healthy" will definitely provide the fiber you need. "Eating healthy" is cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus) and fruits (blueberries, raspberries, etc.). Berries are great in a morning smoothie. Raw veggies are the best, but sauteed work, too.
