In my opinion benson henderson is the most underrated fighter of all time if you’re new to mma he is a must watch legend he might not have been a finisher but some of the moves he used to pull off and the toughness he was able to show makes up for it It would truly be incredible if he could beat usman nurmagomedov for the bellator title i don’t see it happening but it would be crazy

But he was a good fighter, I think that title win against Frankie Edgar was close but fair but as soon as a 145 division came around Frankie dropped divisions because Benson was too big and still barely beat Frankie

One of the first people to really use the low calf kick. Totally dominated Diaz with ease. This performance from Bendo aged very well

@@emadeit704 I don't recall at any time Diaz had bendo in trouble? The sub attempts from Diaz were all easily defended. Not sure which moments you're trying to point out.

I mentioned the calf kick in another thread once and man people hatin on me for it. Its true tho, Henderson was one of the first in MMA to use it effectively.

The presser in the beginning is funnier when you think about the Dana-Paddy-Ariel stuff that just went down 😂 Man, Nate got dominated from pillar to post. Bendo just looked so sharp here.

yessir. this is the result any time nate fought the highest caliber of fighter. Rory MacDonald and RDA had their way with Nate as well. we can never forget that there are levels to mma

@@timfortinate Diaz won well from Michael Johnson in 2015 who was number 5 in the lightweight ranking. before disputing the belt with bendo he won against Jim Miller and Gray Maynard who at the time were the type of the category

Nate really never evolved as a fighter from this Era until the Tony fight , Nate never seemed to train wrestling at all it was very frustrating to watch for years , and relied too heavily on his boxing which isn't great for mma standards imo , I miss nates slick submissions off his back so much Was still my favorite of all time
