I'm just starting my IT career after schooling. My hobby is cars and I've done very well so far modding and improving my mechanical prowess. I wish this debuted sooner so I could see a better automotive career path than just a mechanic.

My concern is how this will stay relevant since most manufacturers are going EV in the next several years and some states (cough California cough) are becoming more strict about performance modifications. I would love to change my IT career to this and spoke to my wife about getting a shop, but I don't see a future in it. Prove me wrong.

Most people want to learn in order to build cars on their own or at least understand the major upgrades and be able to perform the more simple upgrades.

On their website there are some kind of reviews but not amazing. For me this is almost impossible since I’m from Europe, it would cost me like 20k

@@eliasbubbe Don't go that far I am in Florida and it will cost me around the same when considering that you need housing, transportation, and meals for 3 months at Texas rates which are not cheap. Tuition is $16,575, housing the cheapest I found was $1120 for a month, hoping that you can get a short-term contract, we are talking about $3360 for 3 months, car rental is $5130 for 3 months, and finally, if you count meals at $10 per meal (which is unlikely) 3 meals per day for 3 months are $2700. That totals $27765 without roundtrip air travel. I love to change my career but when there is no other financial aide this is impossible.

@@HTV-2_Hypersonic_Glide_Vehicle what state are you from? I’m just curious. I’ve been where I am for 14 years, but locally….we’ve had Career Centers since the ‘70s. I realize they aren’t everywhere, though.

@@t-moneyflotown8433 I'm from Texas, but I am pretty out of touch from many things in the world. I never attended public school because my Christian parents wanted me to remain in a Christian friendly environment throughout my whole education. That eventually ended now that I attend a public junior college south of Dallas.

My friend and I have been building performance cars for a bit. Mostly Honda’s and jdm but any and all have been through our little shop. We definitely need to get us tuning together Instead of out sourcing. What’s the price of schooling and length of time? And does Hennessy build custom race cars for customers? Like would they do their Hennessy thing to my 97 toyota chaser tourer v, my dc5 integra, or my 94 land cruiser prado? I’d love to discuss his further if possible

It's over $30k for both classes who ever is wondering. 16.5k per class. And remember it's Hennessy so they might take your money then they will tell you they don't have seats available
