No matter how much I lift while squatting or doing leg workout, it doesn't cramp as much as when I do upper body workout. There needs to be a balance. First of all : doing that kind of editing in the window of time the VFX team had could not allow anything better. That stuff takes time to look good (and requires skill and mastery), the reshoots were not helping the movie in the first place, editing an entire face is not easy for anyone. Stop being so exigent while you're not involved in the process and clearly ignorant of the time and rigor it takes to achieve. Stop shitting on the people that actually do the work on these things, they most likely hated the whole situation as well. Secondly : he was contractually obliged to keep his mustache because of Mission Impossible, we all know that ever since it was announced, but what you seem to not get is this. There are rules in this business and first one is : don't break the terms. A lot relied on that mustache. Not just Superman. He had a major role in Mission Impossible and Justice League was done by this point and he had to keep his mustache while MI was being finished. Reshooting is something rare these days and it's getting harder to get by them since the time for a movie to be done has increasingly reduced thanks to the amazing people working on these things and not because the exec hire someone incompatible with the original work. Shit on the execs that make poor decisions because money is involved. Reshooting creates exactly the worst case scenario for everyone in 90% of the cases : double the work load for everyone (and stress ensues) and shit movie for an audience that was already in a bad spot.
