Recorded from BBC Radio 3 "Sounds Interesting" with Derek Jewell on 31st of August 1975. Fascinating interview with Chris Cutler where he talks about the work of Henry Cow up to 1975.

Loved them in 1975, love them now. Cutler is the most balletic drummer I have ever seen, and Daggi was enchanting. Cow, Slapp Happy, and Art Bears are responsible for some of my very favorite music, ever.

Thank you. HC are for me the most fascinating force ever to emerge (and transcend) the rock idiom.

Thanks for this Mike, I guess I missed it first time around in 1975. It's never too late! Cutler became the human face and voice of Henry Cow, giving most of the interviews and helping us through the maze of such amazing music that band made. Wonderful!

Henry Cow was a band that I think of that is so far removed rock and more in touch with classical and jazz but really it's own thing. I find it respectable and of course in line with aspects of Zappa and Pink Floyd. As Nick Lowe said he became tired of the tyranny of the snare drum.
