I don’t know if I want the heritage in 22lr or the Henry in 22wmr. They both have their benefits.

@@SandlapperSam yeah they both have their benefits, however, I feel there is enough of a performance gap to go with 22wmr. Whichever one you get, I think it will be a worthy investment.

@@bluefalcon5743 I was mostly thinking about tube capacity because I can run 22lr and hold 10 or 22short and hold about 15 rds. Definitely like the harder hits and the flatter trajectory of the .22wmr though.

Ive got the same mares leg in 22 mag i got for $450 new. I also have the mares leg in 22lr for $425 . Wanted a set in both . Now im looking at the 16" lever action also.

I gotta admit, Henry makes a beautiful firearm and the quality is nice, too. I'm thinking about picking me up a Long Ranger in 308.

Why not get a budget AR-10 with a mag of Shooter's Box caliber devices? Sure .32 ACP is a bit big for squirrels but for cat to goat sized game...

That is more for a back up gun. The size/shape/ammo type make it ideal for that use.

This is like the dedicated small game gun you wear with a 1 point sling not a replacement for a rifle.

Not so great version of Wanted Dead or Alive fun gun, not a survival gun. Can't shoulder to hunt unless you have really short arms.

Well, I agree that you can't shoulder it but, it still has it's use in my opinion. You can go cheek to stock and get a rather accurate shot off within 75 yards or so since it does have a lengthy barrel compared to other, traditional, pistols.
