Henry experienced some startling and mysterious visions during Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 4. These visions turned his sight orange and yellow, shook his surroundings and showed forces within the ink trying to grab Henry. What do these visions found in Bendy Chapter 4 mean? In this new BATIM theory video we investigate the inky ritual, Henrys place in it and the possible outcome for his character and others in Bendy Chapter 5. And by looking into these questions we may have finally cracked the meaning behind Henry's strange and mysterious visions and flashbacks.

I think when Sammy says "He Will Set Us Free" he probably got confused with this whole little prophet, since there's two Bendys it's gotta be kinda confusing which one will set them free..so he probably thought that the Ink Demon was the one that will set them free, but it's actually Henry who will become the true Demon who will set them free

I think Henry became his version of Bendy. Y’know the drawing on his desk of Bendy, I think he became him. Like how Alison became the real Alice Angel and Thomas Conner became Mecha Boris and Buddy became normal Boris.

This theory was incredible!!! If Henry is becoming... well... me; then that would definitely add some drama to the final chapter of the story. Either Henry and all the other workers will escape the studio never to return, or they'll all be stuck, in there for all of eternity. Plus a bendy vs. bendy fight? That would be awesome!!! Everytime Henry defeats Bendy, he’s actually defeating himself. When he started the ritual, he was slowly turning into Bendy himself. The Bendy he is fighting, is his full transformation. Thats the reason Bendy wants to kill him, he hopes that everything turns normal. For the 1% that reads my theory, have a nice day. Henry was really smart to make ideas while Joey not. My thoughts on the visions .the one in the archives was representing all of the hours of work Henry put in for his creations . The one in the hallway represents the demands of rather the fans or the workers putting pressure on Henry . The one with bendy and the projectionist fighting is joey drew and Henry fighting over the company's future . And the death screen represents Henry being dragged back and forced to work . And the secret flash back found in chapter 2 represents joey choosing his design over his design. Or something else.

This is a really good theory! I was also speculating that Henry is the one who 'will set them free'. I didn't realize the ink puddle in the elevator till you pointed it out and that just made your evidence stronger. I think Henry created the original rejected concept for Bendy (the cute version seen at his workstation in Chapter 1) but Joey took the idea and created the more mischievous/ twisted version seen in the cartoons. So both are responsible for different Bendy designs. Meaning both can become a version of Bendy.

I think the game should end with borris, Alice and Henry decide to make a opposite of bendy. And u steal the ink machine from bendy then use it to do the ritual after drawing their character. I want this because it will finally show the aspects of Henry. During the summoning henry needs a body to be absorbed and he uses his then dukes out with a more nightmarish style of bendy

I must admit I've never been a fan of theories that claim that Henry is becoming a ink creature, but this video has clearly changed my mind. The theory is not only amazingly explained, but also provides firm evidences that support it. Although this might not be the real ending of Bendy and the Ink Machine (I strongly believe it's really accurate and it would be a great ending, but who knows what TheMeatly has prepared for us), I think is one of the best theories I've ever heard. Another theory could be that it's due to Henry's interaction with Norman. The visions only accure after meeting the Projectionist, and end at the moment of his demise by Bendy.

a theory of mine: what if joey drew was trying to summon the ink demon, as if it had already existed when wally franks said "get this, joey had us donate something from our workdesks, we put them on these little pedestals," and the ink machine was already made when that was said, so what if that was the final key to powering the ink machine, and freeing bendy from his chains? and since batdr revival is actually released now, joey cannot be bendy due to there friendship, and since joey found a guiding light, he could not have changed to a mad man, he is dead and a memory. its not very simple to understand but you'll get it.

I kinda think, he did end up putting himself in a ritual and when he fell down the stories of the studio he died and then continued to become more and more of an ink creature, which might be why he is caught in a loop and cant leave. I hope BATDR holds some answers.

I know no one is probably even reading this comment or watching this video but let me just say one thing. I love this BATIM theory from SHB the most because while SHB got the ending of chapter 5 wrong he guessed something even more unlikely. This was the implementation of powers given to people possessed by the ink within the Bendy Universe and in turn, hinted at the existence and potential ink manifested powers of the character Audrey, from the trailer for Bendy 2: The Dark Revival. A character and game trailer that didn't even exist yet at the time SHB discussed this theory. This video makes me respect SHB for his analytical thinking and I can't wait to continue following his journey as a KZfaqr. Henry's flashbacks at the end of Chapter 1 supports the Cycle Theory. It's Henry's past selves memories, it also explains his flashbacks in chapter 4.

Not really. We don't play as a mirror, he's killed after summoning Bendy and it doesn't go well and it's clear he's talking to us since after his monologue we can move around.

I have evidence to further support this theory. In chapter 3, Henry (when entering the Heavenly Toys factory) says something along the lines of "wow... i don't remember any of this..." yet later in the chapter, you can find the secret Henry audio log. Keep in mind that this is AFTER entering the factory, therefore after Henry specifically said that he didn't remember anything about that place. So unless someone or something moved Henry's audio log, he must've put it there himself. I think he may have lost some memory when he fell in chapter 1 (or maybe when Sammy hit him in the head in ch. 2? Idk.) But he has seen these things before.
