Thank you for taking the time in detail to explain your setup. I love the X-Pro2 and have had this camera for about 5yrs now and this has actually helped me with a few "settings struggles" of my own.

Hi Roy I am struggling to have continuous 8 frames per sec shots. I tries the setup to ‘C’ from the front of the camera but its not working. I don’t know if I am missing something of it happens if you don’t upgrade firmware. Please help

Lossless compressed vs uncompressed has nothing to do with image quality, hence "lossless." It has to do with the trade off for in computing power to code and decode the compression
