Note: There a few times throughout the video where I said once the cell was infected, HBcAg "moves to surface of the virus" and what I meant to say was "moves to the surface of the cell". Also, I just want to point out that the "window period" is a temporary period during which BOTH HBsAg and anti-HBs are not detectable.

So what is clinically significant about the window period? Anything that we need to know for Step?

I really much appreciate your effort and advocacy, especially I myself is infected with the Hep B via maternal transmission. I have a IM doctor for my condition but it would further assure if I know and understand what's happening on my lab test. Knowledge lessens my anxiety.

You are wonderful, thank you so much ! I’m not a med student I loved learning about medicine. You are a great teacher. My brother and mother died from liver failure. My brother died from hepatocellular carcinoma caused by HBV, we didn’t know until it was too late. You helped me solved what my doctors couldn’t figure out for almost 2 years, my B6 was 6 times higher normal. You mentioned B6 metabolism on one of your videos, it prompted me to google it Thank you so much ! Merry Bad
