I think that hanging man and the lady were trying to create the "perfect child." Hence why they have multiple ugly looking children and why the blue child is one of the cooks. "Born to be a cook." That most likely means that since they werent beautiful and the maw didnt have a cook, the twins were made as such. (To serve the guests) As 6 grew more beautiful, the geisha started to hide her face. She knows that she has 1 eye and hence why her mask had 2 eye slits. The geisha grew jelous of her child because she was more beautiful than her.

I have a theory! If the lady does indeed have one eye only, the mask she is wearing should be covering it. Maybe that's why she has the 'mechanic' eye placed around the maw, and she uses it to see instead of her own eye( because she does manipulate objects after all).

The girl in the portrait is actually not Six, it's the Runaway Girl that "died" from the leeches when falling down a pipe and losing her flashlight

What if the "hanging man's" legs are actually the janitors legs cuz maybe he had normal sized arms and legs but someone cut them off and replaced them with a child's legs cuz if u think about it, to be able to fit in the vents u would need to be short like six or the janitor and maybe the janitor is trying to take six back to the lady. The guy in the lab coat is a doctor who works on the Maw because his unethical experiments caused the people on land to reject him and his work. He is the one who sent letters to both The Lady and The Hanging Man. I don't know what was in those letters but it caused The Hanging Man to hang himself and The Lady to break all of her mirrors. I read somewhere that The Lady named her daughter Six because she was to be The Doctor's sixth experiment. But when The Doctor refused to experiment on her, which would have left her horrible disfigured like all the other experiments, The Lady literally packed her up and sent Six to the depths of the Maw. But I'm really not sure about that last part. It came from an unreputable source.

I'm pretty sure the girl in the yellow rain coat in very little nightmares might be the daughter of the lady because of the long hair(Six has short hair shown in little nightmares 2)

My own theory is that after the "father" and the lady made love that the father died of an accident because of the lady's powers. The lady was very sad so she staged it as a suicide (because maybe the other creatures enjoyed the "father") and then thought her daughter, Six would help her become happier, but the lady then thought Six is the reason for the death, since she was born after that, so the lady wanted Six to be dead. Six then suffered from something where she forgot who she was and only saw evil in the people, hence the Shadow Six we see when she eats. She then took off the Janitor's last set of arms, and killed the lady aswell as the guests at the end. And maybe the little paper hat guys represent the last bit of light portrayed for Six, but once she ate the one she portrayed everyone as evil.

guys, i have a thing. 12:30 - "images of childrens, all with the same body, but with differents heads.." we can clearly see they all wearing the same coat as six, but they have a ruff-thing that six doesnt have. so, what if their faces were masks ? it can be logic if the lady was jealous of her child beauty. she can order six to wear ugly masks to feel more beautiful than her/him. she even can take pictures of it and lay it on the walls to show everyone how ugly is six.. with that, we can easily make a theory like : her usband try to stop her and let six "escape" her mother by living outside, ext... btw im sorry for my bad english, im not a fluent english speaker yet.

Six is NOT the Girl in the portrait, I'm sure of it. Cant change my mind. :) and pretty much Six's parents are Unknown. Six is in Very Little Nightmares, shes the girl who is helping our main protagonist whom dies during the fall of the Pretender. The Chefs one, yes they're likely the children in the portraits but certainly wearing masks. The Janitor is taking care of Granny for sure, and the Janitor plus the Craftsman have been making these dolls. Craftsman sends them, while Janitor makes them inside. I had a theory is the WaxBellsman, and Ferryman might be siblings or similar people. But there was another Theory that the WaxBellman and the Janitor had a "problem" that happened. And the Lady put her own husband soul in the mirror, but turned him into a _intestine monster_

I am aware that this is probably a little late, but I think that the nome (gnome) that held up the sausage (A.K.A the runaway kid) intentionally threw the sausage to the side so that Six would know how to defeat the lady.

You gave a whole knew perspective on Little Nightmares characters and storyline. Also you don't have to call the janitor, well, the janitor he has a name it's Roger.

Well, you have some good spadework. I actually assumed immediately that the Lady was Six's mother, and the pictures do seem to support that. If the Lady did decide to discard her own daughter, or if her father protected her by putting her in the suitcase, there could be reasons for him to be the Hanging Man. Grief at losing a daughter, fear of his punishment for saving her, etc. He may have also simply hung himself without using a chair, jumping from a higher elevation, or accidentally hung himself when he may not have by misjudging the chair's position. However, it seems the Lady is killing people to sustain herself, not the Maw. It's merely her tool. Having that nature in her would explain Six taking to feeding on life more than actual food as the game progresses. She definitely didn't eat much of that rat or Nome Kid, and while she knew the sausage was human meat, she doesn't seem like one to take the moral high ground by chewing out an ally's throat. The Chefs may be artificial people, but what would the timeline be for their creation for them to be adults while Six is still a tiny child if they share parents? Or could the Hanging Man be an engineer of sorts who built servants for the Lady, but always wanted a child of his own, only getting a biological descendant after creating some monsters? And Roger and the Granny are probably aware of the consequences of their actions. Roger may not wish to directly harm anyone, but he knows the children are being kept in cages and keep rotating out, and the Granny would have to be severely disconnected from reality to accidentally drown people.

I think the dark runaway girl killed the hanging man..I think Six and the other kids in raincoats are the cleaners (janitors) of the place, living there.There are illustrations of Six giving passengers a scrub and I think the hanging man was her supervisor (dad or not) who put her to work (maybe the bellman).So the runaway girl,probably being the lady's daughter,killed him to free Six because she knew she had the power to kill her mother,ending so her suffering.That is why the RG was going in the exact opposite way from six,because she was going to her.

It's the Maiko's (Geisha's in training) who have the most vibrant attire and are typically associated with the face makeup. The Geisha's themselves usually have a more mature look, with muted colours and a different hairstyle. Much like how she does appear. The older they get, and the more mature they become, this only increases in how it reflects in her attire, so to say she's a governess, restaurant owner, hostess, tutor, or some form of matriarch is probably pretty accurate But also saying she's a Geisha probably is too. She like did work as one in her younger years and the profession in it's entirety is extremely female-driven with it's leaders and teachers etc It's good money when you're too old to party every single night as the Maiko's and Geisha's tend to do They're not just entertainers, they're supposed to be the living embodiement of art and beauty. Everything about them, from the way they walk, talk, eat, sleep is supposed to be gracious and beautiful. They don't just stop being entertainers because customers aren't around. It is them as a person in their entirety as a constant fixture of art and beauty. Ageing gracefully is a big thing, and that's what I find so interesting about the whole segments with the lady and the mirror. Elder Geisha's who have matured into their twilight years are usually rich enough to retire or become tutors for Maiko's, so they have uses and talents other than their beauty but there is still an "acceptable" way for an older woman to age; so it is quite plausibly her own nightmare to see her face so haggard and old in her later years What that has to do with the Maw, the children and the guests, as well as all the puppets and magic, you can only guess I just wanted to say that yeah, describing her as a Geisha is probably very accurate

I have a theory I think the janitor knows something remember how he puts some meat in the cage when Six is hungry? Now we all know nobody would fall for that but when Six is hungry she will eat ANYTHING that's edible or living but here's the thing how did the janitor know to place food in the cage when Six was hungry? See where I'm getting? Six must be a very special child that even the janitor probably had to get this information from none other than The Lady. There are loads of other children on the maw but how did The Lady specifically know about Six? Only one specific person would know that much stuff about you that person being a mother. Boom that's more evidence to uncover that the lady might be Six's mom
