I noticed a bit recently while replaying little nightmares, that during six's story in the recond chapter, the room when you open the door and hang over a G I A N T broken floor with a view of a line of body bags that lead the the chef's kitchen, if you stick around and look down to see the second body bag to come around, you can sorta see it move around a bit more violently than the normal "air hanging swaying" movement, and in the runaway kid's story, in the begining of the hideaway, how does it begin? The runaway kid struggleing to get out of the bodybag hanging from a line ( DUN DUN DUUUNN) but then again im not sure if anyone already said that or if my game was just a lil glitched out but oh well, i thought this would be a pretty interesting thing to share, thank you for reading my little bite sized theory and have a great night/day :)

HELLO! It's 3 years later soooo here's the answer to this theory of who the boy is! (Spoilers/Theory) The boy is named mono and he appears in part two of the game which is the prequel to this game and how he knew what six looks like is because in the prequel mono is the one who saves six and then at the end (SPOILERS) Six betrays mono(😭💔) and leaves were they are at, and (the black dust is actually her good being/inner self being evaporated and turned evil,) and when six leaves her good self is kicked out of her body and is replaced by hunger/evil and it leads her to the ship where the first game begins! After playing through the dlc today I decided to play the main story again and during the final chapter while i was going up the stairs to the lady's room I noticed that there is a new picture on the wall i had a closer look and found out that it's a picture of the granny maybe more covered pictures in the main story on the wall become uncovered as the dlc is released don't believe me have a look for yourselves

My theory is Six and The runnaway kid are related in some way. They do have some resemblance and both look like they havent eaten in some time (thats why they are so small). Also mabey Six and The runnaway kid were working together in this part of the maw at one point. Six was probobly younger because pictures of the boy look like he is taller than six. So there is a bedcloth leading into the nursery posibly how six got out like some theories say. And like u said six is not surprised at multiple things like the suicide or Bosses like the janitor, chefs, guests, and Lady. Is she mute or somthing idk. (Small story theory: Six and the boy wound up separated at one point, they were together but somthing separated them. The boy is know searching for his relative/friend [whatever she is considerd] in the deeper ends of the maw) Six was younger but so she dosent remeber completly. For all we know all she is thinking I want out. (THEORY DONT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY PLZ)Another theory is six isn't able to die. I know its probobly somthing added to look cool, however think about it Six wakes up at the place where we start, after the cutscene of the lady, I thought mabey this was a First person death scene, when they lady makes eye contact with a being she kills them. I played this on my channel, and it was AMAZING. Knew i needed the DLC's. Cant wait to play through them, this game is such a crazy experience.

There is something you said that coaught my attention. It was so interesting that I could barely consentrate during the rest of the video. "Is it possible that the Lady and Six are linked primarily by gender?". It really got me thinking. There are a tone of theories out there that say that the Lady wants to be the only beautiful person in the Maw or that she is so ugly that she can't bare the thought of someone being more good looking and takes joy out of seeing disgusting creatures (like her costumers and emploees). Maybe that is why she's trying to kill children, because they're beautiful and pure, as you said too if im not mistaken. And, until the devolopers release any imformation that strongly contradict these theories, I'd like to believe them with an open mind. But, theories aside, why is that? Why does the Lady care so much about "beauty"? What made her so self consious that makes her hate and kill anyone slightly better good looking? I mean, a lot of people are ugly, with horrible scars etc. and I'm pretty sure most of them dont go on a killing spree on better looking humans. Maybe she grew up with high beauty standards, in an environment where looks are everything, where you are considered dead with bad looks. Or should I say he? "Is it possible that the Lady and Six are linked primarily by gender?". What if, Six is indeed a male and so is the Lady? Now, before you stop reading and dislike my comment, let me explain my theory. What if the Lady is transgender? Born a male but wants to become a beautiful woman. So self consious of "her" gender and true appearance that does all this gruesome crimes and even hides hides her face. Since the time of the story is undetermined maybe "he" had a sex change, or, possibly, since magic is a thing in the Little Nightmares world, "he" changed his gender with magic and something horrible happened with his face (maybe?). Now, about Six. If the second scenario is what happened (change gender with magic, which seems more likely to me to be honest) then, my theory is that Six is biologically the Lady's child, more specifically, her son. Possibly she was so afraid that her child was going to end up like her that started dressing him as a girl and brainwashed him to think and act more feminime. Maybe she tried to change his gender with magic again, but this time succesfully (meaning that Six actually looks beautiful or more beautiful depending on what you believe happened to the Lady) , perhaps that is why her own mother sent her away to join the other children and, at some point, be eaten too. Can that possibly be why the developers say Six's gender is undetermined but call her a female? Because, the developers have created Six's personality as where even her herself isn't sure and feels confused and "undetermined". Feel free to argue with my theory or point out any holes or flaws I've made. This is actually the first time ever writing a theory and I'm still learning engilsh so forgive my gramatical and spelling mistakes. Thank you for reading.

I don't know if people have thought of this but... what if the children being killed and cooked aren't human because they aren't ever hungry (hint the new child person) but Six can be hungry. Also what if in this universe they eat for just fun or entertainment because their not human.... probably... but then what are they?

I've been thinking a lot about this game, and I really like reading on some of the theories. We don't really know much about the world outside the Maw. The only thing we know about it comes from the comics, and what it sort of shows is that the people from the mainland are not much different from the guests. They are all ravenous and gluttonous beings who want to consume everything. Their hunger and greed is what fuels the Maw. They come to Maw with the prospect of more. It's a place they believe will satisfy their insatiable desires. They don't realize that once inside the Maw they themselves are turned into the food they consume. the lady uses her power to control the guests and keeps them there until they are eventually "harvested". The Maw is considered a refuge, but from what ? hungry all consuming monsters. Six in a way has more in common with the guests then she does with the other children. She even has a hunger that can't be satisfied (Just like the guests). What if the lady isn't so bad after all. What if the "prison" is to keep the children in and safe from whatever is outside. The place even appears to be set up for children to live for a good amount of time. Why have those things if your just going to kill them really soon anyway. I don't think the lady hates children. It almost seems like the opposite. We don't really see the lady harm any of the children (accept when she encounters Six). The worst we really see the lady do to the other children is turn them into gnomes. Even so, it's probably better to live as a gnome helping on the Maw then to be outside on the mainland. The Janitor isn't seen really harming the children either. In fact it even looks like he's watching over them (Even as they sleep). The other monsters on board such as the chiefs do kill children, but it's stated that it's in their nature (They were born to be chiefs). They probably don't think of anything else, but cooking. It's there job. Six on the other hand is seen eating a gnome (A child). Six is a danger to the Maw, and that is why the lady is so bent on catching her. The lady's so desperate that she even has lighted eyes all over the Maw looking for Six (Or other runaway children that could possibly be Six). Six can and does destroy the lady's plan. The only beings allowed on board to live long enough from the mainland are children, and Six could have easily fit that bill. She looks like a child, but is possessed by a darker shadow (The one we see every time Six eats).

I have a Little Nightmares theory that i think explains everything so please read until the end and tell me if somethings wrong. Right, so I think that Geisha is the authority in this distopian future. The Maw is her residence and she commands everything. Now don't leave just yet. Hear me out. In the comic the weird "citizens" of the "city" point at Six and look at her in shock. But no one tries to eat her. This could mean that the guy who spots you and is shown taking you on the boat is the Bellboy from the Gamecon. It is possible that Geisha commands the people in this distopian future and that people know she does therefore when they see what I think is the Bellboy they let him take Six and dont try to eat her because all the "citizens" know she is part of Geishas command and they respect their leader aka Geisha. Or maybe hes just a "citizen" who found Six, captured her and took Six to his/her boss aka Geisha so he/her could claim his prize. The "citizens" clearly want the food shown to us by the fact they waited a line that has what could be the population of the entire "city". It is possible that Geisha controls the "citizens" by controlling what seems to be a either very good or very delicious source of food. The "citizens' clearly have food as you can tell by their fat body composition. Yet they want the food Geisha offers. The why is unknown, we just know that they do. So here is a thought to think about. The Maw is a food boat. The citizens like to eat. Children are rare and maybe their taken by a single ,an or a by whatever "citizen" finds them. The Maw is a restaurant ship and the citizens go there to satisfy their huge hunger. Children are eaten by the citizens because they taste good. So here is what I think is happening in Little Nightmares: Six is captured by a citizen, the citizen takes Six to the Maw to maybe get a prize or food or something. Six is delivered and maybe just maybe shes saved by someone. Remember how the chefs are wearing "suits". Maybe someone couldn't with the killing or maybe the citizen who was bringing in Six got second thoughts. Maybe a Chef or the Bellboy tried to save her. Remember how at the end of The Boy DLC you saw Six sitting down in her cage. On the original game she never sits down and we only did see 1 boy. Plus the way the Janitor pulls the box on both versions is different. Therefore the kid that gets pulled in the original LN and the kid from the Boy DLC are two different people. So here is is my final and this time really final theory. Six was captured by someone, (i got my money on someone who worked for Geisha), brought to the Maw, delivered with the rest of the kids who got caught, Six saw the Boy from the Boy DLC get dragged off to how the creators put it to his "fate", realized she had to escape, saw another kid die, escaped through the "ladder/pathway" the girl the Boy was following had created to escape, used the rope thing, tried to runway as fast as she could and ended up in the room with what i think is either the Sixs dad,(which if it is then maybe there is hope for the Geisha is Six's mom theory) or the citizen who brought her in and felt terrible and committed suicide. Maybe Six's dad who felt horrible after Geisha sent his daughter away to the "city" and then felt even worse when Geisha banished him aswell, wrote a letter, grabed a rope from his suitcase (that explains why Six was sleeping inside of the suitcase and somehow managed to open it without a key) and hanged himself. Meanwhile Six went down the rope, went through the room and ran through the dead man who might be her father. She went to the suitcase and the stayed there until desesparation and hunger forced her to come out of hiding. If she is Geisha's daughter that explains why she has nightmares with Geisha and where she knows her from. This also explains how Six is where she is at the beginning, why she isn't fazed by the dead body, the rope was there by the girl the Boy saw throw it so it correlates with the timeline and maybe the picture of Six was draw by herself as she was kept in captivity before her escape and after her recapture. If she is the Geisha's mother it also explains, how Geisha can appear in Six's nightmare, why Six is afraid to talk to the kids at the little campfire in the comics since you know she is the daughter of the person who runs who gave them this miserable life. It also explains why she ate the gnome instead of the sausage in that gnome eating scene. Since Six saw how eating others made people stronger and maybe saw her mother suck the life force or whatever out of somebody else, Six may have thought that was the smartest decision. It also explains how she got her powers from eating her and how she, somehow by a work of magic knew her mothers only weakness, It also explains who is the girl in the painting in Geisha's room. It would be Six, Gaesha's mother who she had to banish because of Six's beauty. Tell me if you find a hole in my theory pls, any response is appreciated.

On the thought of how the boy could be the kid that gives her food and escaping. The last DLC is what decides his fate. So maybe if he gets captured he has his own cell and is stuck there, which is why he's able to give the food. But if he escapes, all the stuff he used is still there??? Like all the events are all parallel to each other.

what if The Run Away Boy and Six are related and were separated. I mean if the boy was in the room with the picture of Six then it would make sense. he probably drew the picture because he missed Six or to show that he was still alive.

Six's events take place a bit during RK's events. When RK gets put in the cage, If I remember correctly, the screen pans over and you see Six, in a cage just before the RK is taken away. Not to mention, I feel as though maybe Six has planned this escape before hand and figured out that the MAW is headed to land to pick up more guest. As she takes a nap to wait. she has a nightmare of the Governess Lady (Who ever she is to Six), and remembers thats its almost time to reach land or the pick up point, so she makes her move. I thought to myself, how does she know the layout of this place? (Using the ole she was taken by the Ferryman, and the G Lady not being her mom theory). I'm guessing we caught her in the middle of an important event in her story. I read a portion of the comics and I saw Six meet up with other kids involved once she left the MAW. Maybe Six reminded the G Lady of her real daughter or some shit. What if the Maw is like Glutton, the 6th circle of hell and kids are treated nicely to fatten them up just so they can be fed to the guest? I mean, Six issss the main protagonist's name so far. What if the kids that live there are like Innocent and the adults are glutton suffers who are now fat, sheep minded, hunger machines and the G Lady is using them to power the Maw to harvest their greed? Being that Six is a kid, maybe the greed hasn't taken over Six yet, like I said earlier, she could have been going through this shit for a while. I see when she defeats the G Lady, she consumes her, so I don't know. Maybe its like a Silent Hill type place but more about greed. Or maybe, the G Lady was the Governess of greed. Or maybe Six's and RK's world is just really fucked up. 😩 Ad weird as the game is, it could be anything really. The knomes could be children that adapted to being in the dark corners or the Maw. Not being able to satisfy their hunger, they turned into knomes instead of greed slobs.

Maybe the others are the ones who left and drained everything and have successfully escaped (or by the looks of the comic meet Six), and the boy is the one behind the bars, and drops the food as he goes by to whatever he's doing.

Heres my theory about the run away girl, The run away girl was running away maybe because she found out what the lady was doing to the other children and she did not want that to happen to here. Or maybe she was just brought there like six. As for the guests they could resemble humans in the little nightmares univeres. Some people wear a mask of happienes because they dont want other people how they look kinda like the lady. But you know, its just a theory!
