I think Acheron did note that “death” might be Firefly’s only way out of the Dreamscape so maybe that’s her second death and her third death is the death of her life as a stellaron hunter HOPIUM

The planet wiping thing seems to be unique to Firefly, in "Keeping Up With Star Rail" Welt mentioned that she is able to surpass her suit's abilities by channeling her willpower into it. Perhaps in that moment she gained her individuality and desire for life outside of all the death and destruction

I think it's just the suits that were called fireflies back then, with the pilots having serial numbers. I think she chose the name "Firefly" since she told Blade that'll be the name on her grave one day instead of "Iron Calvary" or "Stellaron Hunter."

Now that i have more time to leave a proper comment i wanted to note a few things The soldier that died right in front of her during the aftermath was likely a friend. She has a ribbon in her hair in the same style that Firefly herself does, so she might have gotten the idea from her. It wasnt just some random survivor. Also, it kind of looks like half of her body is burnt from the strike. Like, Jesus, no wonder the upload was delayed on KZfaq. Her speech during the tree growing is identical word for word for when we see her transform during the Penacony Act III quest. Coincidence? The fact she managed to survive the blast relatively unscathed might be due to her willpower through her suit, as Welt mentioned. Finally, I already can't imagine what it was like to be the sole survivor, but on top that, knowing that she's the one that pulled the trigger to kill them all - even if it was almost certainly necessary - just adds an extra layer. As a PS, I'd just like to add that i cant blame Glamoth for how they went about the Swarm Disaster. If it was me, and that's what the Swarm Disaster was like...i cant say i wouldn't make the same call.

Crap, at first glance I didn't even realize the soldier with her at the end was actually burnt THAT badly (though...it makes sense) I had mistaken it for something draped over them. God the writers really put her through so much...then again, that's what you get for being a main character of importance in the Honkaiverse.

This animation is proof that certain things need to be shown to truly understand the severity of it. They told us how bad it was, but it was hard to comprehend that it was this bad when they only tell us without showing us.

Right? That's what I thought as well. Like we've heard the aeons in the sim universe and their encounter with the Swarm, but never really got to witness the full magnitude of just one of their assaults. It sure doesn't look pretty 😬

Acheron is on another level entirely, remember the swarm emenator that Ruan Mei revived on a whim? At its true power it would fill an entire galaxy in a second, the emenator of abundance has living planet as underling. Yeah firefly and kafka subdue blade according to the healer set.

Yeah the order of recruitment was Kafka, Firefly, Blade and last one Silver Wolf. There's a theory that Caelus/Stelle were the first since when recruiting Kafka Elio is talking to someone who is cleary working under him to help recruit Kafka. Could be the Trailblazer or some random unknown NPC time will tell.

The worst part about all of this is that, the war, is pointless. btw, I wonder if that quote, "for her majesty" has more nuance to it. maybe something like a built in bio engineered trigger. if that's the case, her character would be even more interesting. since the first time she heard it, it felt like she snapped out of her stupor and pushed the button, but the second time, she just cried until she decided to charge the bugs again. a few other interesting parts of this trailer is that some of the lines don't really work in EN, like the part when she says "am I dead? who died?". Its supposed to showcase the absurdity of the situation, its so shocking that she doesn't even understand what she is witnessing in front of her, the sheer number of death.

Numero uno is trailblazer. Remember kafka recruitment instruction on kafka character story page you unlock when max lv kafka? Yep elio use someone to start conversation with her using this instruction. Also kafka said several time that elio brough trailblazer to her "directly" in kafka companion mission.
