Maybe it’s just me, but I think this running gag could be applicable to Mae Whitman’s entire career (if you think really hard about it). That’s because even in 2004, she had developed a shockingly illustrious career for a then-16-year-old which has only continued to grow since, yet most people probably wouldn’t realize that Katara, Batgirl, Little Susie, Amity Blight, and of course Ann Veal are all played by the same woman. Therefore, when you tell that to people, most would subconsciously think...”Her?” well before accepting it as fact.
