If missionaries attempt to pick up a relic they transform into having the relic on a cart which has the same speed as a normal monk. Perhaps a happy medium. If the enemy is going heavy skirm to counter conqs, would not mixing in a few knights or light cavalry decimate them, as you pull your conqs back?
