I do want to clarify one thing about the tarkans, their specialness is only being part-siege. They have higher PA, yes, but their lack of dps means that the difference in survivability compared to a knight is moot when killing ranged units or surviving defense fire when killing something takes 50% longer. They have a base 8 atk and 16% slower attack speed than a knight meaning ~65-71% the damage output of a knight with it falling worse when armor is a factor. It's cost compared to a knight is saving 15 gold, but marauders has a cost too. When actually used as a stand-alone unit in castle age they are no better than a knight and consistently are directly worse than them.

I think that your ability to read situations and knowing when to double down makes you so good. A thing that non pros can't really do effectively. Getting siege out if you FC is the move to put the pressure on. I think t90 took foot off the gas when he had the momentum
