I never tire of these beautiful elephants swimming around in the water. They are so entertaining, especially Khanyisa, Timisa and Pisa playing with each other. So clever seeing the older elephants, with the tip of their trunks out of the water like snorkels. Another wonderful relaxing and entertaining video. Thank you Adine, Carers and HERD>

The Herd is physically just so huge! Seeing the size difference between the buffalo and our beautiful Herd was just ...wow 😳🙏😃

Wow! The first thing I think of is Adine and the carers safety! If I saw a herd of buffalos this size I would be in the South Pole!! I’m perplexed that the herd didn’t smell them (or maybe they did) but they were calm as cucumbers. I’m awful proud of Beautiful Bubi staying guard at the waters end! It’s really obvious they are not a huge threat to the herd…unlike the huge Rhino yesterday. The mechanics of this beautiful family never wane regardless of the circumstances! Again thank you Herd for this breathless scenario of our precious family Please Stay Safe! Adine and the carers are incredibly brave and courageous…We love you❤️❤️❤️❤️

A puddle full of elephants! How absolutely wonderful!

The contrast between the buffalo quietly sitting by the hole and Adine quietly talking, to the elephants splashing around so she had to raise her voice was pretty funny.

Whole bunch of water babies today...must really be quite warm! Don't mean to complain, but I had volume as high as it would go and could hardly hear Adine through most of the video. The days go by but don't quite look alike at the Dam Yesterday it was a big Rhino today it's a Herd of Buffaloes and however numerous they are, they give way to the Ellies who were rushing like one into the water with no exception only Bubi later on the outskirts who kept an eye on the Buffaloes It is so enjoyable to see our Ellies having fun in the water splashing around especially the girlies, little Miss Sunshine in the lead who finds it funny to climb on Timi then on Pisa She is like Sebakwe, water is second nature to her Our teenagers as well having a great time Mambo, Zindoga, Limpopo, Klaserie & Kumbura sometimes only periscopes were in sight and the adults are not left out Sebakwe, Somopane, Dame Setombe, Gentleman Fishan, Lundi & Tokwe don't miss a beat Great video with insightful comments from Adine, a real pleasure !

Everybody into the pool !! You don't normally see the elephants all rush into the water ,without even stopping to drink ,like this . I can only imagine how hot it must be. We are in the midst of fire season here in BC Canada and there are two large fires in my area as well as many smaller ones around us. It's a bit scary and hard to breathe sometimes so vidoes like this are a nice chance to escape all that Thank You

Love seeing them all enjoy the water. It must have been extremely hot as all of them headed for a swim including Tokwe, Lundi and Jabu who normally stay on the outskirts and let the young ones enjoy. Fantastic video example of passive power at play again. Ellies storm the waterhole like the Alabama Crimson Tide football team (their mascot is an elephant), and the other team runs away. USA peeps will get that reference. Roll Tide. It was cool when the HERD elephants started to show up that the Buffalo very quickly left the area. The Buffalo also remind me of the Water Buffalo. The Buffalo in the US are not Buffalo but they are called Bison. The only actual Buffalo that I am aware of as an actual Buffalo are the Water Buffalo. Is this group of Buffalo any relation to the Asian Water Buffalo? To me, they don’t look anything like our Boson who live out West in the USA. But, it was so awesome to see everyone have such an awesome time in the water too. There surly was a lot of splashing all over the place and a lot of them were also laying under water. If I may ask, just love long can an elephant last laying under water until it’s time for a human to go out there and see if they are alright? I would hope that a human would go out into the water to check on an elephant that isn’t moving under water??🤔. So enjoyable to sit here and watch! And you want to jump in with them! When you said getting their trunks wet helps them smell better, that's why bloodhounds drool so much. It wets the ground and magnifies the scent they're tracking.

Love the sound of all those hooves at 8:53 Did the zebras just get spooked when they spotted the carers approaching? Or have they learned to associate the carers with the elephants, and they were making space for them like the buffalo?

We can learn so much from these creatures. Look how they enjoy the simplest of things a swim in the cool water!

That reminded me of a public pool. When the time slot changes from early morning pool exercise to family time all the buffaloes head for the changing rooms.

This must have been a brutally hot day. Almost the whole herd of elephants pretty much stayed submerged. Looking at these rugged behemoths it is hard to believe they have such sensitive skin. Doesn't seem fair. Dry or wet they are all beautiful to me.

What a great day at the waterhole! Every snorkeling trunk had a good time thrashing and splashing around. It's interesting that with the buffalo-the elephants didn't really make a lot of noise to get them to skidoodle. They seemed to know it on instinct! How cute to see Meisiekind climbing on Timisa like that! And Sebakwe placing his trunk over Setombe!

And bubi ❤ is the guardian!

The Buffalo said, "OK, everybody look alive and happy today!" But, most said,"I ain't getting' up for no Ellie!"

It was really interesting to watch the buffalo clear out of the water once they could detect the elephant’s coming towards them. There was no doubt that someone bigger then them was on the way in for a swim. Watching them cooling off while enjoying a fun filled swim helps one to realize just how much we as humans share so many things with all living species here on this giant surface we call earth. 🫶WOW! Now this was a sight to see! The Buffaloes 🐃🐃🐃we’re on semi alert, then, it was definitely time to move on, as the Elephants 🐘cleared the mound of trees and greenery from the side. It’s very hard to hear you at times. Especially when the herd came in. I like the commentary but strain to hear.

I really appreciate their names displayed indicating each family member. Up close, I can often identify them, but far away views is at times challenging. I always enjoy watching them as a group and how they react with their surroundings and each other. So beautiful to see the zebra, wart hogs and water buffalo too. Lovely video to start my busy day.
