I’ve never spent over $2k on mine and it is over 300k miles. Maybe it’s because I’m a car guy but the only thing I’ve had to do to mine is fluid change, tires and regular service and maintenance. There’s no way a car would develop an issue if the air, oil, coolant are working. I use fuel cleaner and catalytic converter cleaners every year, i dare a Range Rover to develop a problem under my car. Range Rovers aren’t for people like my mom who takes her car to the stealership for a simple bulb change. This is a luxury car not your average Toyota

Mine has 400k miles, fluid change every 80k miles by myself for less than $80. Tune up every 90k miles. Never broken down or needed more than $2,000 to run or repair in a single year, never seen a mechanic. I love mine, it is an SUV and fast too, I’ve taken it to every state in America. What could possibly break ? They have Ford engines in them, yes, a ford motor

sounds like a pretty good price with just 116k miles. Make sure to look at the CarFax report and do a good test drive with it. If everything looks good with the car don't hesitate to but it. Cars are selling fast right now and if you think the deal is good you'll need to move quick.

He’s not lying. Why do people say thinks they know nothing about. This is a luxury SUV and you think a 1 inch off the ground Honda is more quitter.

Depends on the year. 125k is a lot for any car, and while the Evoque is pretty reliable any maintainence (since it’s out of warranty ofc) will be more expensive given it is a Rover. It is a safe and nice looking car, and for 15k I suspect it has a history of bad maintanence and may be one of the bad early ones. One’s after ‘15 or ‘16 are the updated ones that resolved many long term issues

@@krismine99 I would check out Ineos Grenadier’s, my father ordered the Fieldmaster recently and should be coming in a few months or so - worth checking out, uses pretty reliable parts including a nice BMW engine. Last Land Rover my family had was back in ‘04, owned Range Rovers since which are nice, but I am definitely not keeping my 2019 Evoque for more than a few more years. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful car, interior and exterior, and the driving is elegant; however, if I didn’t have the warranty package I would have inherited several cosmetic defects (and a windshield issue) that would have cost me over 3k in total. And worst of all, it was bought from the dealer so they either didn’t notice before selling or didn’t care to mention it. Either way, not good. That being said, they have a history of being a kinder dealership than Mercedes and Audi (anectodally) and this was honestly the only bad experience with them, but the process has been irritating and slow given the neccesity of importing parts. All in all, lemon titles wouldn’t surprise me. Once again, great cars to drive daily, but if they could produce them reliably and consistently they would be even more popular than they are. EDIT I will say, none of my family’s RR’s have experienced significant issues - but to say we haven’t had minor issues would be dishonest. Maybe no more than the average luxury car, but still somewhat shocking given the price point.

@@jjmg2847 so far it’s been ok but ONLY bc I bought an extended warranty with it. I bought a 2017 evoque with 42,000 miles on it. The turbo did go out last summer but it was covered under the extended warranty (without the warranty it would have been 8 grand) I have 92000 miles on it currently and it’s been running fine.

You never owned 1. This same company makes the Land Rover Discovery but can’t get the Range Rover Evoque right.

@@alexlee1501 No car is a sh!t car, I’ve seen Altimas go one million miles, I’ve seen millions of New York City cvt & Nissan cabs go a billion mile, key is to keep it running impeccably. You mean same Land Rover that made the defender 50 years ago somehow couldn’t get the Evoque right with all the technology we have now & couldn’t just get a Toyota engine, copy everything in it & rebadge it ? That’s like saying the Camry is a good car but other Toyota models are sh!t. Car engines are made of aluminum steel & not of wood. You know evoque uses Ford engines, they couldn’t stop buying sh!tty Ford engines & form a partnership with the ever reliable Toyota ? Only people who should own an evoque are guys who can actually work on cars or rich people, evoque is a luxury car, it is packed with 900 times the features and quirks of your Toyota Camry. I’ve owned about 9 of them, only thing they need: oil, brake pads & fluid, i currently have one with 300k miles & still going strong

@@VladC998 Absolutely, just as reliable as any car I’ve owned. What could possibly make the engine break down ? Not maintaining or servicing the engine. Only thing I’ve ever done on my evoque are break calipers, fluid change. I run fuel (sea foam), cataclean and oil cleaner every 12 months. I can’t recall how many times I’ve driven it from New York to Arizona, one of them has 300k miles and the other one has been in the garage for 3 years
