Next time you go for the record make sure to lock the diffs or use a heavy Grease. It could have been the out of water wheel was spinning too fast and the in water wheel acting like a rudder.

Cleetus, you have to change the oil in all three differentials. I would try 250,000W in center and front differentials and 100,000W in the rear diff for more stability. The video shows the front wheels expanding like drag slicks this meeans the center diff is sending most of the power forward due to the load of the rear paddle tires. Good luck next run.

Hey cleet, I rc often, I think the reason it was pulling left and right was because of the difficulty maybe? If it has open diffs being on water it has little resistance so one wheel could spin way faster. If you were to put a limited slip or heavy heavy oil in the front diff and lock the rear it may drive straighter on the water... try that!

Quick pro tip on the hydroplaning RC cars, if you want to be able to maintain directional control cranking the steering to full lock will only send you in the opposite direction, you want to do small quick corrections like flicking the wheel ever-so-slightly to keep it going straight. In all honesty it looks like the car has a broken or partially stripped out axle causing one of the wheels in the back to not spin as fast as the other three... You won't really notice it on land as the car has enough torque and power to break traction easily but in the water with those paddles a broken/stripped axle will become easily noticable...

You need to rebadge / change the wrap on that BUSCH LIGHT boat or burn it 100%!!
