Do not let negative comments influence what you buy for your family. Please buy as much bread as you want. It's your money and your family. You can do so much with bread. I live with my partner and he and I consume a lot of bread. I get about 2 to 3 of those baguettes, the hot dog rolls, the burger buns, sometimes the naan and flat bread. Plus my partner gets a loaf of Martin bread at Target. We both work full time so we use it to make toast, grilled cheese, pb&js, egg sandwiches, for burgers, for chicken sandwiches, you name it. Any one leaving a negative comment, please go away. What works for you (person leaving the negative comment) may not work for everyone else so please be nice.

So I followed along with what you bought and estimated the prices where I'm at...in Seattle area all those items would have cost around $135.40 and that's the "budget" groceries like Winco, Grocery Outlet, and QFC (Kroger). While it was fun to follow along out of curiosity, I can't help but feel jealous that you bought all that for under $100 😅

The people commenting on the bread are just jealous because they can't eat it.

Your family is in perfect shape. What works for you might be different from what works for others. Don't make changes in diet unless it makes sense for your family. Europeans eat bread and are generally quite healthy. ❤

The buckets is a great goody bag idea. I alway got character plastic cups and filled them up for goody bags. Figured it was something useful and not just something to throw in the trash.
