Teams will start to learn how valuable it is keeping their lottery picks in the G league for longer periods of time. It's much better for the maturation of a young player to build confidence and develop good habits rather than spending the majority of the time on the bench in the NBA. Lots of these guys are simply not ready and just because they're high picks teams feel forced to play them big minutes too quickly. Obviously it varies team by team but the Magic and Howard will show the benefits of this next season.

Shooting gets him into the rotation but what do you think would take him out of it? Defense? I feel like the hope from the front office and coaching staff is that he can play next to Cole and AB with the second unit.
