I'm 63 and the white castle I ate at when I was 14 is still selling burgers. They taste the same. The white castle with the gas stoves taste better than the newer electric grills, but still good. Hell back in the day we had White Castle, Friendly Fosters and nickel nooks, they were all about the same but White castle won.

I'm not sure when I crossed over from being middle aged to being old but I do know I didn't sign up for most of it. The thing I know for certain is that you dang kids need to get off my lawn!

I live in Florida and just found out the LARGEST White Castle is going to be built in Orlando! Just 1 restaurant in the whole state! It's 1 1/2 hour drive for me to get there. Road Trip!!!!!

@GVMexican Fun Fact: Though White Castle did promote the movie, the fast food company DID NOT sponsor the movie. Producers got permission, but White Castle didn't pay anything for product placement. It was simply a stoner movie, and White Castle got free publicity. Screenwriter Jon Hurwitz said that it could've been any fast food, but he chose White Castle due to an experience he had while being stoned and craved for WC sliders.

I love it that my White Castle is a 5-minute walk from my house. And what makes them so good, a side of onion chips, a large coffee, and five cheese White Castles with ketchup and mustard. Oh let's not forget a double fish with cheese. Mmm mmm good.

We don't have a White Castle where we live, but we buy the frozen White Castle cheeseburger sliders in bulk at Sam's Club and we LOVE them. They are SO good! Both my husband and I work from home, so they're a super quick and easy lunch or dinner that we can just pop in the microwave for 40 seconds on each side, add some ketchup, and they're done. I've been eating them almost every day lately! They're like crack! FAR better than McDonald's.

Here’s a trick,on the frozen ones thaw them out first and cut that microwave time way down…only way to eat the frozen ones…straight from freezer to nuker = steamed out gross bun and cheese is basically wpvaperized….also add pickles and mustard and ketchup but not way too much…taste just like the store bought ones

Same here! My husband and I buy the White Castle brand frozen cheeseburger sliders in bulk at Sam's Club. Working from home, they are perfect for a quick and easy lunch or even dinner on nights when we don't feel like cooking. Sometimes, we even have them as a late night snack!

They don't flip the burgers, that's the reason for the holes so they cook without flipping them, Also, White Castle didn't call them sliders until about 20 years ago. Slider was just a street term, and White Castle finally decided to go with the name sliders.

Maybe the sliders slang started at different times per state you live. I worked at Whities for 2 years when I was in high school in 1986 (37 years ago) and they were called sliders long before then when I was a kid and dad would take us there on occasion. (St. Louis MO)

White castle has always been apart of my diet since the late 70's. It was also a similar joint like white castle in Detroit called Greene's hamburgers. They were very good and made your patties right in front of you. It was also rumored back then that used worms as a filler. I didn't care if it was true or not I ate them anyway. As I’ve grown older I’ve seen price change, sizes shrink & flavors I once loved turn to crap (hostess, little Debbie) only two things tastes the same White Castles and Oreos ( not together of course) I’m blown away that White Castle taste the same some 30 years later when very few other things do.

Many years ago when I lived in a Northern state where I could buy these, I had a very interesting experience. Arriving at a nice size party with a suitcase of sliders, I open up the case and put it upon the food table loaded with different pizzas and other fast foods. Long story short, the WC sliders vanished in just a few minutes, I mean like magic ! Now in SW FL the only source to fix my crave is the ones in frozen boxes, how sad is that ? With all the Northern retirees down here, WHY ?

The White Castle near me has been in business for around 60 years. Their service has never once been any less than professional in the 25+ years I've ate there. My only criticism is the removal of the Clam Bites from their menu. I just wish they could fix the shake machine themselves. Waiting a few months for the manufacturer to do it is just wrong.

Whoever came up with the name "sliders" was a dumb head. Do I want a slider, or a white castle. Ive been eating them since the mid 1950s, and I still ask for white castles.

I have only eaten the Frozen Ones, but not gonna lie, even those are pretty good for a frozen burger, if those are good, I can imagine the ones from the Place itself are way better

I'm from the UK England and I've never been to the USA but I do love a burger and just looking at these Makes my mouth water and would rather have white castle over the bland McDonald's or burger king overpriced crap they try to push out over here maybe you should open up some over here I'm sure that they will be profitable
