If your slow your game iq needs to be off the charts So instead of speed you'll use smarts against players

i am slow but not so slow like medium but when i defend i am like 2m from the attacker with the ball and if hes faster some times i let them go then they need to slow down to look up so after they get past me i full sprint to the ball and take it ( mind games )

If you're having problems defending against strong forwards, you're having problems with your decision-making. When you're up against defenders stronger and faster than you, learn to close all the gaps, it's something called shadow marking, the more area of the pitch you expose to the player, the more risk you leave yourself to be beaten on 1v1

how do you beat a player who is faster than you and stronger

Body feints are your best move against such a player, you can't beat the player in speed or strength but you can definitely send the player the wrong way.
