You know Thundurus made the theme because he had to work the hardest. He's a single Dad now, he took a second job and pulled double shifts because he needed the income to support his daughter, Dazzi, and it was hard, sure, he'd often come home and just want to crash, but he knew he had responsibilities and her smiling made it all worth it in the end. Good guy that Thundurus.

As someone who thinks there is no collective soundtrack better than Gen 5, still gives the best battle music for a legendary trio to the lake guardians. The gradual build up and adding of the more powerful instruments is incredible

Listening to it again after years, the theme fits the Weather Trio perfectly in the chaotic duality and expanded on through their Therian Formes. The wind can be a calm breeze or knock down everything. Rain can be refreshing or come down merciless with the roar of thunder and strike of lightning. The earth is full of life and wildlife, but goes on unprovoked rampages that shake and crumble anything not sturdy enough.

Back in my day it was Ruby/FireRed with the Rayquaza and Deoxys battle theme. I almost didn't want to catch them because I wouldn't be able to hear the battle theme again. Didn't really have good Internet back then. Couldn't hog the phone line trying to look stuff up for silly games.

I really hate to be *that* guy but I feel like I need to say this, this theme is more of an overall gen 5 legendary theme rather than a specific trio or quartet theme. The Legendary Beast, Regis (for the most part), Lake Trio, Tapus, The Galarian Birds, & Treasures of Ruin would fall under this category. The Genies, Swords of Justice, & Victini all have this theme, kinda similar to most Gen 4's legends sharing a theme. It's a really good legendary theme, probably one of my favorites, just the category in the title slightly erked me. Sorry for my nitpicking here...
