This is a slept on mogul in the game. People don't really understand how he changed the business of the rap game for artist for the better. People always mention Russell Simmons, Jay Z, Diddy 50 Cent....ect. Master P at his peak was worth 600 million dollars. Even right now he is worth 350 million dollars. That's why you have all these fly-by-night rappers taking any deal that's thrown at them just to make a buck and make it out the project, but their product ends up being garbage and their just another pawn. But also, as you can hear from his story, his mother and father likely instilled a sense of work ethic in him and that's something else these rappers today probably didn't have growing up

Bro, I used to live in the back of a smokeshop while i was grinding to graduate college. I graduated from college and moved out of the back of the shop into a home. I didn’t buy the home, but I fasho don’t miss living in the back of smokeshop either! I never told people I lived in the back of a store because I was embarrassed tbh, but it worked out for me and saved me hella cash too. I don’t regret living in the back of a store, because it taught me to work with the bare minimum, and be humble. Everyone has to start somewhere.
