Pointing out some of the many reasons as to why the Ford Ranger is a great truck. The fact that this truck is not full sized it still has many capabilities of a larger vehicle. It is a more simplistic truck than many other trucks out there on the market today and has lasted as long as it has because they are such great vehicles. People love them! The exterior is simple yet refined. The interior is simple yet comfortable and suitable for 5 passengers. This truck has the 5-speed manual 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine that is very reliable and many parts out on the market available for it that are cheap. The gas mileage can be up to 27mpg on the highway. Insurance and registration costs are cheap. These trucks go hundreds of thousands of miles trouble free as long as you keep up with routine maintenance on them. You have a 6 foot bed that can haul plenty and if you put a camper shell on it can lock down valuables and other materials. My specific truck can haul 2,000 lbs but with a better tow hitch can tow more. I mean for a vehicle that you can purchase all day for under $2k all day how can you go wrong with such a nice truck as this. Find a well taken care of one and it will last you many many years to come costing you little to maintain and keep on the road. I highly recommend this truck and that you test drive one today. You will love it. Such a great truck especially for you who want a cheap truck to travel and camp in or who have a small business and need to haul materials. Thanks for watching and make sure to like and SUBSCRIBE TODAY!!!

Yep. I did see a super clean S10 today. Good on whoever kept it so nice. Only problem- - it was still an S10. And for sure, you hardly see them anywhere as often as old Rangers. Rangers go and go and go. I've got 2 right now: 94 4 cyl. 5 speed with super clean frame and no rust, c. 126K miles. And a good looking 2003 2.3 16v 5 speed, about 155K miles. Had a 98 stick with the 2.5 that I drove from 120K to 220K. My son bought a 2001 with 234K a week ago, running good. Only mistake I ever made on a Ranger was when I bought a high mileage auto transmission. Bought it to flip- fixed it up looking sharp, and then the tranny went. Don't ever intend to break my stick only rule again!

I had a 97 with a 3.0 Vulcan, 5 sp. Looked just like it. I really enjoyed the heck out of it. Great torque but @ 18-20 MPG. Let it go to get a 2.3 2006 ranger 5 sp. Although the later tacomas are a great truck, the Rangers always get my nod.

Really great looking truck. Love the efficiency, haul capacity and gas mileage. I’ve been seeing some for under $3k close to 200k mileage. I need a weekend project truck for cinder blocks, 2x4, mulch and gravel, and the occasional dry wall sheet. 90% of the time it will sit in the driveway.

@@tyranq8609 I have an '04 Fx4, it has the 4.0. Having driven both, if you can get the 4.0 I'd recommend that over the 3.0 - the 3.0 is pretty gutless and anemic when you need some power on-demand for passing or getting onto the highway. The mpg on the 4.0 is a bit rough to be honest, I average around 12-14mpg, but for me the trade off for the increased power is worth it.

genuine car guy I am. so as far as the car it's a good car. my brother has a 2014 malibu ltz and he hasn't had to do anything to it and has about 90k miles on it. as far as price goes, it is a bit more expensive than you can get them for elsewhere. it's a dealership so they are making money on it. I would suggest doing more research looking for the right car and finding the right one at the right price. dont rush it. wait for the right deal to come through and you will find the right one for you. that's my advice for you
