Spectacular review of a pretty impressive crossover SUV. I actually just finish recording my review for the Kia Sorento in the 3-row variant... I am starting to edit it now. I have to say though, the midsize 3-row family crossover segment sure is very crowded and filled with tons of solid entries. Withal, the Pilot is definitely amongst one of the best looking and most competent when it comes to spaciousness, practicality, versatility, safety, and fuel economy. All of which are categories that many new car shoppers check for when shopping for a new SUV especially if they plan on hauling around their family. Once again, great review! Keep it up!

Great video. I'm curious for someone with a bad back, if they're not desiring the mechanical headache of Volvos (they have the best seats), what SUV in the last 5-10 years would you recommend? How's the seat on this one? Thanks!

We didn’t buy the 2018 pilot, we bought the 2019 Honda Pilot touring which is really awesome.

Yes it is a great car. Definitely an improvement over the pre-facelifted 2016-2019 model.

Well 2019 Pilot was a step up in the transmission, it appears.. No sudden jumps in automatic trans at 30 miles per hour I guess.🤔

Hasn’t the driver noticed the 9 speed transmission changes to soon giving it a noticeable kick in the transition. Give the power a B+ and annoying transmission a C~ I own a 2017 pilot touring.

I now have a 2020 Touring and I think the transmission is much better than the pre-facelift 3rd gen pilot (2016-2018). They must have made some changes to the programming after the 2019 facelift.

The seatbelt on the 2018 Honda Pilot is extremely short and is a safety issue and very uncomfortable.

Lane departure warning is completely over-rated. Drive the 2018 Subaru Forester and compare. I own both

I agree. I actually turned mine off. It really acts up when there’s road construction and the lane markings are unclear. A lot of people love it though. I guess it’s just personal preference.

And you shouldn't because of the direct injection carbon buildup problem which only Toyota seems to care about
