ikr holy priest does way better in M+ than holy paladin so i dont understand this list at all + envoker will get nerfed i did 2.3m heal crits with it >.

@@soulbound5732 Not going to deny those criticisms but Flame's list isn't throughput-based just like the tier lists for the other roles; Holy Paladin has historically always been a healer that scales very hard with secondaries and therefore is rarely in the top-half of healers at xpac launch (same way DK is never top in tanks at launch but is _always_ top at the end of an xpac). He likes how it plays, and if tuning is the only issue it is easily solved even if buffs-now equals nerfs-later when the haste kicks in. It's a much worse place to be in where a spec feels bad to play - especially if it is mechanically janky but numerically overtuned because it's just going to get nerfed anyway if it is over-performing, regardless of what cheese may be involved. In a beta environment, tuning is much less important than gameplay/mechanics because tuning is almost always performed between beta and live (or post-live even) so if numbers are low it's low-down on the list of issues in the context of a beta. He did say it was going to be a controversial placement :p

@@graysaltine6035 fair enough, i just hope they doing the scaling/balance right this time before launch i know its a big if prob not realistic but if envoker now is the only healer that has impact in healing numbers wise that it self is a issue. And i speak only for m+ environment with holy pala u barely feel u heal unless u have pressed buttons and u most likely are oom after, holy priest have bit more impact + great dps but dps i dont care as a healer but same as holy pala the healing is better but takes allot of pressing buttons. Misteaver and restro druid are less buttons with high input and shaman i dunno got way less buttons but u more reliable on the ancestors which barely proc in order to keep party alife. Till u play envoker and all these problems above is solved with 2/3 buttons sure the playstyle is Tricky but the input is so high is crazy.

Pretty much... Archon holy priest is actually blasting dmg and healing in M+ like crazy, you don't even have to do anything Halo in a pack of mobs does insane dmg all alone and you only cast it once. Once a friend said to me I would try Holy but thats for girls lmao.. People is stupid when talking about holy priest

The tier list is just a mcguffan. Content creators use that format because people click on it & it's good for the algo. What matters is the actual words he says, not the tier list.
