I tried adjusting the set screw. What does it mean when the height adjustment doesn’t go all the way up. It goes up but I need to lift the seat up to get it to the highest position? Thank you excellent, excellent video.

How much should it sink when you sit on it?

My chair was fine for years but now started sinking while I am sat down. I tried adjusting the set screw anti-clockwise at first, quarter turn by quarter turn but could not get the level of the chair to remain stable. Then I went clockwise until the chair rose on it's own and tried going anti-clockwise again. Still no luck. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Nice to know. Do you mind if I ask, is it normal that the seat part itself rocks a bit in forward backward motion making a little of tiny clicking sound ? Its not noticeable when I sit but I can rock it with my hand. I went to check under and Im seeing that the screws on the bolt under the back side of the seat are just half screwed and the bolt can be moved left to right because that untightened screws sitting on the half of the bolt on bot sides. It moves about half of centimeter. Also by moving the seat I see that the part under that mechanism box under it is also moving and those strange screws also don't seem to be screwed completely ? Im wondering if that's on purpose or its not normal ? Its brand new Aeron Remastered I got few weeks ago. Sorry its not completely connected to the video but I cant find the answer online. Thanks in advance.

My chair is stuck in the down position I adjusted it both for too tight and too loose ways and the lever still didn’t engage the cylinder. The clamp moves up and down but it’s not engaging kt

What to do if the lever itself is loose not able to up or down the chair

Make sure that all of the cables are connected properly, and also that your cylinder is a top activated cylinder.

Dude. I can’t even get the cover off. I don’t have whatever tool you are using. Only a flat head screwdriver that is chipping and bending the plastic. My rage meter is through the roof.
