Great to see a review from an actuall tall person! Was just wondering how you found the top of the backrest, where the top of the "Y" is - I've heard some complaints that they dig into shoulderblades for tall people, but you didn't mention that in the review - were they fine for you?

I do have to mention most of my height is in my legs, so my torso is not very tall

@@MoeTechReviews Good to hear! I'm at 6'2" so even if your torso isn't super tall compared to your legs, it still probably somewhat compares to mine :D

Would you recommend going for the regular sayl for the lumbar support? How important is the lumbar support for you and do you think it'll be better or worse with it?

I'm 6'5 230lbs, I'm having a really hard time between picking the embody and the aeron gaming. I watched your video on the aeron and you said that it's better than the embody but now you're saying that the embody is your main chair. In your opinion, which one is better for us tall folk.

Yea I can definitely see it got confusing. It did for me as well being 6’5, 220lbs. All of my height is in my legs so you can see my legs extend much past the recommended 3 finger gap. Although I like the Aeron’s build quality and back support more, the plastic lip of the chair landed at an awkward spot in my hamstrings, so I was forced to put the seat down too low. So I had to give up the Aeron. It wouldn’t be a problem if you don’t have really long legs like me. Also the embody gives a higher back support for taller people. So because your built similar to me, I think the embody would be a better fit for you, but you should try to find a store to try them both.

I'm 6'5 200 and had the same issue as Moe did with the Aeron lip being uncomfortable. I got an Embody, but the shoulders are uncomfortable on it and forces me into rounded shoulders. Also, I did get a defective Embody. The springs on the left side of my seat weren't working properly and caused the seat to really jab into my lower butt and hamstring. If the defective seat was the only issue, I would just get a replacement, but the shoulders being uncomfortable just isn't worth the $1600 I paid for it. I had to return it. I've tried all the Herman Miller chairs, Steelcase, and almost every odd brand out there and have yet to find one that works. If you've found a chair that works for you, let me know. Thanks

Do you find the seat missing depth even when fully extended?

At 5’2” I’m an avid leg tucker when I’m at the computer. I was wondering if your wife ever did that or had issues trying. I’m assuming you’re not a leg tucker at your height.
