Hi Bob ,Jenny,Poppy and Tara. What a beautiful weekend you had at the new forest. The site is so open among the trees. Who needs site toilets when we have good facilities in our Motorhomes and Caravans. I think the Dog show was fixed!!! Poppy and Tara should of won 🏆 I think there were some doggy treat back handers going on 😄 You definitely had good weather. I'm hoping next week when I go up to the Lake District for 8 days we get some good weather. Not as hot as today though. Can live with any weather but rain!!! Probably not the best place to go as it usually rains when we go but it's such a lovely place. Looking forward to your next video. All the best Pete 👍

It is a huge site with a lot of potential i do remember you going to Herman fest before lockdown times with the horses, i am subscribed to them. Poppy is so funny she is saying get in the shade Dad it is getting hot out there 😊

We have a similar air cooler and we put ice cubes in it which we find very effective. I don’t think it mattered where you pitched - the whole field had concrete/rubble just under the grass. A lovely weekend 👍🏻

This was a very definite large concrete block, the support for a hut I guess, right where the corner of my awning wanted to go. 😬😊

Never commented on your channel before and very new to KZfaq commenting. Just wanted to say I spotted you both on Rookesbury CAMC site on Wednesday I think. Didn't dare approach you in case you don't like people invading your privacy but did practically shout at my husband 'They're from KZfaq!' probably in your earshot! First time I've seen KZfaqrs 'in the flesh'. Like seeing celebrities! We have a Go Pod but I like to watch various caravan/motorhome channels

Thanks for replying :) We left Rookesbury last night, must be another Pod. Another Pod did arrive after us, first Pod we've seen since getting ours 18 months ago. Rookesbury is a lovely site, especially the walk into Wickham. Being new to caravanning, I find channels like yours (although about a motorhome) invaluable as we continue on our learning curve. It's also lovely to follow people on their own adventures

Strange you have commented, I watch several channels but have not seen any Go Pods until Bob's recent video. Just caught a glimpse of one behind the awning (probably yours).

@@andreathomson4376 yes, that was our Pod. Drive away awning goes on the back so generally hides Pod from view. Another Go Pod arrived mid-week, first time we'd seen another one on our trips

Serious question, why a motorhome and not a caravan? A lot of your trips you take a car to avoid the inconvenience of trying to park the motorhome, with a caravan you can leave it behind on your daytrips. Hitching and unhitching a caravan can be effortless with a motorised jockey wheel.

We have a list of frequently asked questions at www.bobearnshawmoho.co.uk/2020/08/frequently-asked-questions.html this is one if them. Apart from if we wanted a caravan, we'd have bought one, the main benefit of a motorhome is that it is a flexible vehicle. When we stay at sites for shows and we stay in one place for a week, we can. We tow a small car with us for that. No need to move, and this way it is much like a caravan. The car is then used for driving to and from the show and for going out. When we want to travel around, stopping over night at places, we can. We don't take the car with us for these tours. Great for touring Europe or Scotland. When we want to go out just for the day, we have everything with us, toilet, cooking, fridge and even our beds. Great for visiting museums and castles. A motorhome can be used for many purposes, towing a variety of trailers, a car, or a boat, or a box trailer or trailer with bikes, motorbikes. The best thing is that everything is self contained and you can never forget things when you go out in it!

Thanks I'll probably update that with more reasons - like a small car is easier to park in towns than a large tow car and it makes a useful trailer.
