Welcoming back to my channel!
Today I'll be going over my experience with the Hermes leather appointment system here in Paris over the past few years as well as my friend's experience this past week (yes, she scored a leather appointment!). From what we've heard at the store, there's about 20,000 online request per day, but only 100 leather appointment slots available per day. So don't be too disappointed if you weren't able to secure an appointment on your first few tries!

I completely agree to dress in the aesthetic or color your looking for. I was looking for 1.5 years for a Lindy 26 in blue nuit with GHW. I recently went into the store in a sun dress with navy blue stripe and at the end of my shopping was offered this exact bag!! It totally made my day. I think my SA forgot it was the very first bag I had on my wishlist 1.5 years ago (and I figured it was a non existent combo) but when he saw my outfit it reminded him of my love for navy with GHW.

Cute bag. 😊 I don’t know much about the process of getting those Kelly & Birkin bags but when my hubby & I walked the store we were greeted by sales person and was asked what we looking and she showed us the Picotin as I wanted but it was too bright then she said she had a mini Evelyne bag-the process was about 10-15 mins to get it. She also stated Hermes no longer taking the waiting list-first come first served as it becomes available.

Hi, thanks for all the details, really useful. I’m heading to Paris in early may and can see that may 8th is a public holiday (victory in Europe Day). Do you know if this means Hermes won’t be open that day also? Thank you.

YOU GOT SO LUCKY!!! How come she was allowed to buy the display bag? I scored a lottery appointment in January but there was no stock due to fashion week

Yes, but a really insignificant amount. The system have changed since then so I am not sure if having a purchase history will help you score an appointment, but it should help with what you can get offered once you are at the leather appointment.

Hello Lensa 🤍 my friend bought something small three years ago (a rodeo), but is not a regular customer in Paris. Honestly not sure how much that helped her score the leather appointment. I think it all comes down to luck, having purchasing history only really matter once you are at the appointment. The SAs usually takes a look at your profile before determining what they can offer to you.

Thanks for sharing your and your friend’s experience. My family and I are headed to Paris in a week and hope to score an appt as well. Do you think any purchase history in Hermes France would be helpful or do you think they look at specific purchase history at the store where you got the appt? For example, should I have some purchase history at FSH to give myself a better chance at being offered at FSH? Or are they o it looking at overall purchase history in France?

They can see your purchase history in France, but how leather appointments are allocated is a bit of a mystery. Purchase history will only be helpful once you are at the appointment, as SAs usually take a look at your profile. I’m sure having your purchase history at FSH will help, but it’s not for certain so don’t overspend 🤍

This is the stupidest thing I’ve read. Wake up and smell the ridiculousness. That Hermes bag costs no more than $200-300 to make. You’re buying it for much, much, MUCH more than that. What is this sickness that prompts you into such a shallow hamster wheel existence to acquire something whose primary function is to signal affluence?

I'm a New Subbie! I really want Picotin or Evelyne handbag. However, the only thing I own in Hermes is a pair of Oran sandals. I will be visiting Paris in August for my birthday for 2 weeks. I'm praying I can score one of those handbags. Praying 🙏

Fingers crossed 🤞non quota bags are easier to get as long as you have a leather appointment! If not, just walk in to one of the stores and let them know you are only looking for a picotin/evelyn for your bday; maybe they can make an exception for you!

@@kgan4733 frankly I’m not sure, the rules always change. It was ok before to get one of each or to even get two quota bags, but now it seems to be one bag per appointment.

Hello Serena, there isn’t a set formula here in Paris. As long as you have some spending history in Paris it should help 💙 especially if you are a tourist with an appointment at FSH. Just wear the items you have from Hermes at the appointment!

When I shopped in Paris last Jan I wanted to ask my SA if I can shop with her again the future but she suggested it’s not the same way in Paris, may I know can you shop with the same SA in Paris ？ as will be moving to uk in Summer thanks

The system in Paris have changed, but as I am a local so I do have a SA that I work with. If you visit Paris often I’m sure you can work with the same SA!
