I learned so much about brushes, and so happy, i learned about blue squirrel brushes, and got a few, and they are the best! I get flawless but light application of bronzer or blush. Blessings 🙏💕

So nice to see your review of the brush! I ordered it along with 4 of the blushes... eagerly and impatiently awaiting their arrival 🤣 Things always take a bit longer to be delivered here in rural Canada 😅 I’m glad to hear your thoughts on the brush, it sounds like just what I was expecting. I love my Sonia G. Soft Cheek and Classic Face for blush but was wanting something a bit stiffer and coarser for more lightly pigmented/ hard to pick up products 😍🌸❤️

Hi Lexi, your review about this brush is spot on. I have this brush and yes you are correct when you said this brush is not poky at all. It is not the softest goat hair out there especially compared with Chikuhodo, but somehow my Chikuhodo goat brush can poke me whereas this Hermes brush doesn't. I went to the Hermes store so this is not a blind purchase. I ran my fingers through the hair and thought it is not as rough as I thought would be. So, yes I am glad I purchase it and I think it us worth the money though here is more expensive than in the US, I paid $135 for it. Hope Hermes will come up with more brushes.

Good morning! Thank you for investing in this brush and reviewing it super-thoroughly. It was quite effective at diffusing the blush on your cheeks. Since I have a small cheek area, and I need targeted application so the Hermès brush is too large for me. Thank you for the comparison with other brushes.Thanks again!

FYI, more than likely Visage USA will have a sale around Mother’s Day. They have multiple sales per year and the discounts are typically dependent on how much you buy. They carry the entire FO series.

@@virginibab7709 They ship to any country except Japan which is interesting because they ship from Japan. Looks like their shipping fees are the same for every country. They have a minimum purchase of $110 USD to qualify for free shipping which is cheaper than most fude retailers

It is a gorgeous brush and totally worth it if you acknowledge in advance that it won't be as soft and luxe in comparison to fude brushes at the same price point.

Really curious it looks kinda cheap. It looks pretty and yet cheap in the photos. I know that doesn't make much sense... Update: so this brush is ideal for the blushes and the shape is kind of unique too. I can totally see why you're happy to have it. It looks better in your video than in photos. I only really love one shade from the blushes so far: Rose Pomette! It looks very pretty on you but I think you mixed it with Tan. Anyway. Love the Rose Pomette shade.

I will have individual cheek swatches of all of the brushes after the last two arrive. Rose pommette is gorgeous imo! I can see how it can kind of look cheap in the photos. I think it looks better in person but you are definitely paying for the brand name.

Thank you for your review. You always have the most thorough reviews. I’m still on the fence. It is a beautiful brush but I LOVE both my Chikuhodo brushes so I’m torn. I do really like that it’s natural hair. I was expecting synthetic.

If you are happy with what you have, pass on it! It is nice but overpriced. I am okay with that but i know others won’t be. I would hate for you to be disappointed.

Hermès packaging of the poppy lip balm is just something that enhances my enjoyment. I wish they made lighter lip colors. Perfect lipstick:TF girls, any pale shade in Hermès tube! Yum. The luxurious design has a cost and a value; apprecaition of the worth is subjective. I’m in. I might see if they have something else. I love the pink and gold, and mauve and gold. Do you have the one in chartreuse?- is it gorgeous? Oh well, it’s too deep for me. -Claire.

I absolutely adore the poppy lip shine! I was hoping the new balms were just going to be additional shades in the same formula. I ended up ordering all three of the lip balms now because the packaging is so pretty. I am not sure which chartreuse one you are referring to. I haven't gotten to watch anything since you recommended it yet! But it is still on my list.

@@LexiJong sorry I should have been more clear, I’ve now searched your videos and found you have what I think is a chartreuse package, LE 32 Satin Rose Pommette. You might have the one with chartreuse and beige LE 43 Rose Oasis as well. Maybe it’s yellow on the tube. Your Nordstrom link has the new 14 Rose Abricote, so I bought that one. Can’t wait to see the other colors you will be receiving soon, especially Rose Tan. ;0

Thanks Sheila! I have a brush video on washing the brushes if you want to see the process but for very dirty brushes I use the black beautyblender soap and for more delicate brushes or light powder use, i use a diluted mix of Dr. Bronners and water (about a third or fourth of the soap mixed into a foaming soap dispenser. So i dampen my brushes with water first, apply the soap, swirl or rub along a silicone scrub pad, then rinse in running water being sure to get the bristles but not the ferrule. I keep my brush pointing down at all times, squeeze water out and hang upside down to dry or leave on the edge of the sink to dry. I hope this helps!

I don't have the suqqu cheek brush but I have some similar brushes and will try one to be sure but I think they will work fine with the blushes, maybe slightly less pigmented on first swipe which is totally okay with me for my complexion.

I wonder if Hermes will be included in any of the dept store sales? They are excluded from Rakuten on Bloomingdales and Nemans/Bergdorf (which now exclude ALL beauty) and Saks often excludes quite a few brands from their sales.

Lexi, I hope you don't mind I dug this vid out for two reasons. 1 I need a brush for Rosy Meteorite, softer Fude pretty much useless, ATM I'm using large Koyudo with usual (old formula) 01 which is OK. but the rosy Meteorite I use as blush needs an angled brush - and a large one, I thought of your vid 2 Slightly OT, I'm also thinking about the Hermes NEW EYE brush collection (new out holiday '23) in a box. There's a brow brush, flat brush, soft-funnel brush and a liner. All have different colour blocked enamel rings like the blush brush. Will you be doing a review? XXX

Have you tried the Rephr 04 with the meteorites? It isn't as soft. It still might be too soft though. I like this blush brush from Hermes but this one is natural hair and the new eye brushes, although beautiful, are a mix of goat and synthetic so for me, I don't think they are worth the price with those specs. I haven't seen them as a box set so if there is a discount purchasing as a set, I could potentially get those but otherwise I am most likely passing on the new eye brushes. I have been tempted to try a few of the other Hermes face brushes though like the candle shape one.

@@LexiJong Ha ha, there's always something lovely to think about. I haven't bought the H blush brush yet because Kumanofude are much better for most face products, and the Guerlain Météorites Powder Brush is already £36, and, not sure if like the way it looks - although any undyed goat hair is going to end-up with pink bristels. I will check out the Rephr 04, it's not easy for me to get US-based product especially if the duty is not pre-paid products and I don't buy enough to get the shipping free, but the new saibikoho(?) cheek brush is very tempting (not sure about flowers on the handles though LOL). Brushes are the hardest thing to buy without reviews IMO. If you get the Hermes, I will be delighted 😀 The H brush set seems to have useful shapes and purpose. I have to use my little brow-brush on the non-pencil side of my Dior pencil, when the pencils small it's more challenging to use - and then I throw it away. Money aside (and I know there are way cheaper versions) it may be nice to have one I can use without digging around my pencil case. Hermès is crazy. For $100 you could get the Hakuhodo S531. It’s stunning with the vermillion handle and hight quality undyed goat hair. Absolutely not worth it. It’s taking you for the ride. This is about having designer brand, not about anything of substance.
